I wasn't inferring that melo is MVP. As a knicks fan i think he lets the team down more than he helps them. He's never been a triple double player, but its nice to see him doing ell coming up to play off time. I don't think the celtics are that strong, even with KG. I think that on the day the knicks can beat any team. Oh look, they just beat the thunder but im' sure you will find a reason that the thunder didn't win, probably that on a sunday they struggle and the moon wasn't bright enough. I don't believe your trolling and it does amuse me your views, which is good as we all have different views and opinions, you just have one view....... Your team did great on your winning streak, well done. Other than scorng, what does Durrant really do that is better than others? Nothing else outstanding to be honest. Reading your posts again your starting to sound like a Man Utd fan. Nothing ever your teams fault, only see one side of a discussion, nobody else can play as good as your team, so far up there own back side they believe that dwade is the best player on the planet!!!!! Did make me chuckle. Like i said before, to get past the first round for the knicks is progression from the previous season. Keep improving and i'm happy. All this without STAT, can't see the heat winning all there games without one of there big name players???? There might be some shocks in the playoffs, i think closest its been for a while

Oh FIF, you do make me laugh. When the knicks were sort handed you were banging on how the knicks fans moan when we have a short team then when your beloved heat are short its a different story. I don't agree with teams putting out weaker teams, true the teams they have played are not top teams but as i'm sure your aware that wins breed confidence. When the heat went on that amazing run some of the games were won with a huge amount of confidence due to winning. Whatever team is put out you still have to beat them and the fact that anthony is doing it with such high % is pleasing. Your arguments are irrelevant to be honest as your so one sided by hating knicks/bulls etc. Kncks still beat heat 3 times with all wins in double figures this season. I think with K-mart and TC playing they can keep KG a little more quiet. Kidd has been quiet but hopefully his experience at this stage of the season can help, only time will tell. Regarding Durrant, he is more of a one trick pony than anthony. His height helps him at the position he plays, playing against smaller guys at the position he plays and having a great shot. I'm sure you only have 1 MVP candidate................... Leflop James. But again thats your blinkered views coming out again

Bit of a run for the Knicks at the moment. Came from behind last night to beat the Bucks. Can only boost confidence for the playoffs. Be interesting against Thunder as 2 players are fighting it out for the scoring title. Who do you reckon will win it???

He's had the operation and a steel rod inserted in his leg, Hopefully he will overcome this injury

James has a long way to go to be up there with MJ as a better defensive player. MJ could defend most positions as well, except for the center but that era was a center driven era when the big man ruled (Olajawon/Ewing/O'neal/Mutumbo). The big men these days are not as good. They can dunk and maybe block but creating for other players and creating there own moves isn't there. I agree with silebyboy. But i might be biased as not the biggest james fan even though i respect how good he is as a player.

Knicks are hitting form at the right time. Against weaker opposition, but wins are wins. K-Mart looking the business. Its still very open with the positions on the east coast, could be a very interesting play offs

Pop along one time. Bosworth a good bunch of lads. First season with them and didn't know any of the players but been welcomed in. We train in twycross on tuesdays and game nights are on a friday We must of played against each other at some point over the years. Let me know if your interested

Playing and coaching for Bosworth this year, played for Fulhurst for 10 seasons prior to that and Groby before that. First time i've played in division 4 and its quite an eye opener as thought it would be easier. Its just shown up that i need to get my arse into gear and lose weight and get into shape. Do you play at all?

I can't like Lebron for some reason, don't get me wrong he is a fantastic player but just something about him that annoys me. Maybe its the flopping last year against the Knicks or the song and dance he made when he signed for miami. Jordan will always be my number 1 player. I don't think we have the stars like we use to have, i watched bulls v jazz the other day and Malone and Stockton worked hard to get where they are. I know the game is changing but Griffin is just a dunking machine and lebron has surrounded himself with top 10 players. I'm not even that keen on Anthony and i'm a knicks fan, i don't think he helps the team as much as he can do. Scoring 30 points in a game by taking 100 shots a night isn't helping a team. Where as Chandler is a worker and gives everything he has. Maybe its jut me as i was always a rodman fan, even when i play now i get a kick out of outrebounding taller and fitter players than me. I'm a 5ft 9 nearly 40 overweight point guard but can mix it down low by boxing out and getting position.

JR Smith is either fantastic or a waste of space at the moment. I don't think he can cope with the pressure of being the main scorer. Who will be the 1st team to break the heats run????? I've heard rumors that James will finish his career back at the cavs as he wants to link up with irving. Going to be interesting with the run up to the play offs as still lots to play for for certain teams.

Knics have been terrible of late. Woodson is doing a Pearson and messing about with the starters. White should never be starting, when fit STAT should of been starting. He seems to have lost the plot a little. Last night was disgusting, they are living and dying by the 3 pointer. Fair play to Miami, if they keep this run going into the playoffs then look out. I've always said that if Knicks get past the first round then its an improvement on last season and its a sign of progression. The only thing that is going for us is that we seem to do well against Miami. Not that we will play them in the playoffs.

unfortunately I couldn't make the game Thursday as I was busy. sitting here by the pool in marrakech relaxing. I did manage to go to the coaches clinic on Wednesday, which was fantastic and taught a couple of things to aid my coaching. I would recommend searching for dave hopla on google, his shooting is amazing. he took 400 shots and only missed 2!!!. The coach from the pistons did a session with a bunch of local kids and really encoraged them, meeting them all after to give advise. Some really good players, could handle the ball great with either hand. Was good to see that nba players do the basics as well, shows you that every player can improve. Good result for the knicks and the break helped, let's see shumpert get back to full fitness.

Detroit v Knicks game is only on due to it being in London. Would love to have gone but wasn't going to pay the silly money for tickets. Bad result for Knicks v Celtics, still can't stand Pierce's smug facelol
-
They have a lot to answer for!!!!!
-
Any of you play ball in Leicester? I currently play for Bosworth Blazers, in the B team due to my height, age and weight .
-
Jordan, do you manage to get to many games??? I would love to go to more but unfortunately finances won't let me. I'm almost a qualified coach so you never know, could be the next Woodson!!!!!!

Did you see the refs decision where it hit D'antoni's foot and Lakers got the ball in the game against the Knicks. Not sure if it would of affected the game too much but it was terrible. Also, i think before that decision Anthony went for a rebound and it clearly came off of his hand and they gave it to the Knicks after spending 5 minutes looking at video footage. Not sure if any of you have played Leicester local league but some of the decisions the refs make are terrible but i didn't expect to see it as bad in the NBA. Good result against the Suns, Smith stepping up again and Kidd rolling back the years.

I'm not going to be able to watch the games this Christmas due to the change of circumstances this year. Be interesting to see how Knicks fair against a fully working Lakers. Canny might be back which will help against Howard. Not too much but every little helps. Have a great Christmas all, even the bitter and twisted heat fan . Make that camby

Wade and Allen are not point guards and Chalmers is an average guard. Which is why James takes the guard duties. He can do it but i think others would be better placed playing that position to let him do what he does best. FIF - In your opinion, will Heat retain the Championship? I think they are the strongest team and will be there or there abouts come June. For me, if the knicks improve from last year then its a succesful season.
-
`Maybe not all Knicks fans are like that. I couldn't stand Linsanity and was happy for him to go to a different team. Along with Fields and Douglas and the other rubbish they had. Like i said, i'm taking the rough with the smooth and enjoying the good times, they are winning games that they would of lost in previous years, Just like tonights win against Cleveland. Good to see Felton stepping up, being a point guard myself i like to see a good driving player. I was even a Marbury fan so not your usual Knicks fan. Heat could do with a decent Guard instead of relying on James to play every position.

FIF you really are a sad little man. You go on about things as if you know what your talking about but come across as noy having a clue. Every Knick game somebody comments about you just slate them and talk rubbish about how they played blah blah blah You make so many contradictions on each post its laughable. I don't blame you for defending your team, unfortunately your team won't defend there title as well as you defend them. And to say that it doesn't matter at the moment as we are only in december, any player/coach knows that winning breeds winning, every win goes towards the goal of the playoffs and putting themselves into the best position for the playoffs. And to say that you hate all knicks and Bulls fans is just a joke ( a bit like you). I've been a Knicks fan for years and its nice that they are doing well at the moment. Like any support you take the rough with the smooth. To say that you hope a player dies sums up what a prat you really are. Enjoy your day of watching basketball.

I'm a knicks fan and i believe this year they can be contenders. Wallace has been the biggest surprise for me, i thought it was a terrible move and i've been proven wrong. What most Heat fans forget to realise is that the Knicks have a starter missing, everybody would know if Bosh was out and they still kept winning but remember Stoudamire is still to come back and Shumpert will boost the D when he returns. Plus Knicks beat the heat without Anthony who has been awesome this season. With the experience and Felton thriving in New York then we have the best chance since the late 80's early 90's to winning something. Key match against the bulls tonight.

Knicks fan here, ever since i went to MSG i have been hooked by them. Even through the bad times. I think Anthony isn't the best fit for the team, he scores loads but he throws the ball away so many times and also makes some bad shot decisions. Glad they got 1 win over Miami and hopefully they can get another. Chandler deserved the DPOY in my opinion, he helped the team go from the worst defensive team to one of the top defensive teams. I think if James wasn't MVP material he would of won it. Alot of politics in the game unfortunately. James did annoy me in Game 1 where her was blatantly flopping to gain calls, no need for it as he is a good enough player without it. He will never be in the same league as Jordan due to the fact he jumped ship to win a championship instead of fighting it out in his team to build a championship. Wouldn't mind him playing on my team though!!!
-
The Knicks are my team. Watched them at MSG and fell in love with them since. Lin has been amazing, i just hope its not just a passing thing and he really is as good as he has been playing. I once emailed Michael Jordan to come and play for my local league team but he never replied
