He's just been given a new 4 year contract. Matty James that is. Is it justified? Saw him play v brighton and thought he was steady rather than spectacular. I've always liked him so I'm going to say yes.

So we've signed an excellent centre back, a cultured CM, a capable GK and a potential amazing forward. Maybe more to follow. Great clubs don't dwell on their success they build on it. I'd like to think that's what we are doing. I was totally stunned when we won the league, always difficult to follow but this season could be great. I hope we keep Mahrez though.

It was a difficult night in that time was running out and the crosses were forced leading to poor quality. I thought he looked good in that role. Not got the pace of Schlupp but can play football.

Amartey is clearly not ready to play CB yet as he is not strong enough in the air as demonstrated by losing every header to the direby midfielder. Think he will end up being a DM. Uses the ball better than Simpson but not better at RB. I like the thought of a N'didi, Drinkwater, Amartey midfield for away games though.

Clearly you missed the amazing escape that Leicester made from relegation. He was Leicesters midfield, alongside Cambiaso. So he has proved himself at premier league level. I remember watching him twist his knee in front of me. Heartbreaking. So when people slag him off from thousands of miles away I hate it. Prove them wrong Matty
