With the youth movement in the squad now it would be great to grab Southgate.

Would command respect, track record with youth, good contacts in the game.

Questions over going back to a club role but gotta be a better option than Dyche.

As much as I don’t like Southgate perhaps he might be the answer 🤷‍♀️

And your point is? You mean a Leyton Orient side that should be nowhere near the play offs in that division after also getting them promoted from league 2.

    Yes that’s the point I meant 👍

So if we can get someone from another club after the 1st July because of the financial situation who would we want?
    Rohl obviously, Wellens? Anyone else.

I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to Wellens. I think he would bring a lot of these players down a peg or two.

He has been successful in making the club more competitive, you only have to look at our results against Man City and Liverpool over the last 2 seasons to see that improvement.  Ultimately though only one club can win the league and that has n’t been Arsenal.   However,  there are a few of the so called “big clubs”, Spurs, Man Utd amongst them, that would be biting their hand off to be able to compete consistently at the top of the PL.   Arteta, for me though has to take that final step next season, no excuses.

Arsenal have become ‘next season fc’.

Perhaps if their players didn't high five each other after winning a corner they might improve.

Some people have been saying Spurs had a better season than Arsenal.  If that was the case why have they sacked their manager? :crylaugh:

Spurs might’ve have sacked Ange but they still had a better season.

In fact so did Palace, Chelsea and Newcastle. You could even include Leeds😂

Spurs have had a more successful season. I think Arsenal are dictated by Arteta’s awful mentality. That’s why they don’t win anything.

The fact he didn't heed the warnings our very own side gave him is a hell of a red flag too. One of the only teams he faced that season that was even close to PL standard beat his side 9-1 on aggregate, with the first goal coming after 21 seconds.

I honestly thought they were going to come to us later in the season having sussed us out and the 4-1 at theirs would be a lesson. They tried exactly the same style and got a 5-0 spanking for their trouble. And he didn't even learn over the summer either.

It all suggests he's either too stubborn, too arrogant, too inflexible or too limited to switch it up. None of which are adjectives I want for our next manager.

Martin has a reputation for being “principled” in his approach to football. He won’t change even if they are getting hammered every week.
I hope we don’t employ this idiot.

I've been watching this video about KDB and when asked about most difficult players to play against, the first one he mentions is Kante.

    12.55

Hate Man City all you like but this guy is one of the best of the PL era for sure, and has always seemed like a decent guy.

I’ve always liked KDB. One of the best midfielders ever along with Kanye.
