  1. Time flies by in the blue and white

Stick around and you'll see we're alright

There's a Turkish star that I'm dreaming of

If you need me you know where I'll be

I'll be singing come on, underneath the hot sun, we've got Yunus Akgun (akgun)

probably not great but maybe something we could work with.

  2. My lasting memory of Kristiansen will be that seeing his name on the back of some kids new black shirt after walking away from the Hull game the other day changed my perspective.

I turned to my mate and said, "could be worse, could have VK on the back of my brand new shirt and know that everyone that spots it will silently mock me".

Thanks for the memories, Viktor. xoxox

Yeah but he suits the system and can pass between the lines apparently. Which is just pure nonsense.

I watched the Hull game pretty closely for this, and their CB's passed between the lines better than we did.

Something must have happened with Souttar as there is just no way he wouldn't even be making the bench when we have Vestergaard playing.

    That's exactly right.

I refuse to believe a professional footballer isn't capable of playing a basic 5-10 yard pass with confidence.

    It's incredibly frustrating.

Apparently him and Enzo have had a falling out. I really, really hope common sense prevails and they can make it up, and at least get him back in the match day squad, until January when it can be evaluated

IF this is the case then Enzo needs to have a word with himself.

I don't believe for a second that Souttar is the answer to problems we're having at the back but Vestergaard has me having nightmares.

    He's absolutely sh*te.

The bloke has been here 79 days just over a 2.5 months to imprint his ideas on a squad who's just come of the back of a dreadful season with which has left confidence on the floor.

Since the end of last season 15 players have left and 9 players have arrived, 24 personnel changes almost a whole squad.

He's had to assemble a whole new coach staff.

We have lost our two top scorers, one of whom was our chief creator.

According to the Foxestalk masses he's having to deal with the worse DOF of all time.

He's had to deal with want away players, some who are still here.

According to 99% of Foxestalk we had the worse plan preseason ever.

He is also relatively unexperienced manager.

Some of the comments on here are comical.

Give the bloke a chance ffs......

Quite possibly the most sensible post I've ever read on here.

  6. Just now, Jimmy said:

our right winger has a much harder job, the left winger gets support from Doyle and KDH the right winger is pretty much left to themselves

Me and my mate were discussing that very issue. The right winger has a much more difficult job than whoever plays out left. Not sure what the resolution is in this system.

  7. How long do we pursue this Nacho lone striker thing?

I'm not knee-jerking based off of today's performance but has he ever completed 90 minutes? .. I know he's been unlucky on a couple of occasions this season so far not to get a goal and I've always had a soft spot for him, but he was poor today. He can hold the ball up ok but there's no creativity to really lay it off to.

He'd be so well suited to having a strike partner which I don't believe is something we'll ever see under Enzo.

I actually watched Vardy almost exclusively after he came on and he was making real intelligent runs that a ball over the top could've made a dangerous possession but due to the system of "pass till it opens up" were never going to be found.

I do like a lot about the new system and I genuinely believe that given time it'll make us a much better side.

I just don't know if Nacho or Vards are the men to lead the line.

    Over to you Tommy Cannon.

  8. Think that ref forgot to add a zero after the 3 there. Joke.

That's a poor one to lose. Other than their goal they didn't really offer anything in an attacking sense. Flip side of that, is neither did we.

    Need Coady back asap.

Fatawu looked like a genuine threat and I'd hope he's in from the start against soton.

  9. Overall, not a terrible window as a whole.

Shame we couldn't offload more of the deadwood but we have brought in some new faces and a couple of exciting looking players.

Would've loved to get a creative player like Chair in but it doesn't look like any other business will happen.

I assume Ward/Iversen will stick around. Souttar may well be integrated back in so we at least have another option if we suffer injuries.

Soumare I can still see going. Maybe Turkey because that windows open longer?

As it stands, it looks like Daka to b'mouth on loan and Cannon in from Everton for the final day. I'm relatively happy with that. I think Cannon looked handy for Preston and maybe he can replicate some of that here?

    Who knows.

    UP THE FOXES!
