  1. Muzzy was my first real hero. I loved watching him when I was a youngster. Think it was my first real heartbreak seeing him leave. After that I'd say probably Vardy.

Real genuine club legends the pair of them.

    Edit:

Special shout-out for Lloyd Dyer and Marc Albrighton. Absolutely dons.

  3. Very tidy.

As the season progresses he's going to be instrumental.

He's the essential footballer that you need in a good side. Doesn't really do anything massively outstanding but is very good at the basics. Very happy he's ours.

  4. Probably the only player I've ever seen that has a first touch that looks like a 5 yard pass to someone.

    Absolutely woeful.

I don't dislike him as a person or even a player. But the role he's being asked to play is not for him.

I think Souttar is a good defender and would be solid in a flat back four, but the formation and style we are going to be playing suggest that he is Maquire esque to slow on the ball, turn and recovery.

I'd argue you could say the same about Vestergaard.

I'm here for a Vesty redemption story TBF. He came into the side under Brenda and was given like 10 games (I think) in a team absolutely devoid of leadership and game plan.

Either way, I'll trust Enzo with the decisions either way! ☺️

Faes ain't honking though he is a class above Vester and Souttar.

Souttar however is better than Vester so no idea why Vester is ahead of him

I am yet to see anything to suggest Faes is the long-term option at centre half for us. When you say he's a class above the other 2, that I feel is down to the fact that Souttar and Vestergaard are bang average.

    I really hope I'm proved wrong. 👍🏻

  7. Gotta trust the process.

If Enzo doesn't think he's up to whatever system he's looking to play and we can get a reasonable fee, offload him.

My major concern is that Faes is absolutely honking and Vestergaard would rather not be here.

That leaves a young player, that even though played a lot of games at this level for Cov last season as the rest of our defensive depth.

Maybe there's other deals in the pipeline that strengthen that area but if we run our season off of Vestergaard and Faes at centre half we are in for some rough times ahead.

  8. Get Rudkin on the blower to Ryan Reynolds FC and fleece 'em. They'd loved a Welsh international keeper over there!

I'd actually be happy if the club bought him out of his contract. I never want to see him in a City shirt ever again.

  9. If the offer is decent then I say offload.

He's genuinely been one of my favourite players at the club since he arrived but his injuries have caused us all sorts of problems.

Castagne is absolute guff mind, I'd prefer him out the door before RP.

It would seem odd to start Iheanacho if he's leaving. Might be a sign we're keeping him around if we've gotten the fee we wanted for Barnes and/or we know something about Soumare going?

    My thoughts exactly.

  11. I have zero ill feeling towards DD and I am thankful for the big parts be has played in our clubs more recent history.

I'd like to think we can offer him somewhere to work on his fitness and hopefully he can pick up a an offer from a club somewhere. But that should be the end of it. I have zero desire to see him in a starting 11/subs bench for Leicester in a competitive football match ever again.

We've moved on and things are different now.

Don’t really know what people are moaning about. Solid addition, good experience, tidy on the ball, moves the play well, relatively cheap, get behind the lad man

    My sentiments.

We've been spoilt over the last decade with thinking we could sign midfielders above his calibre.

Look at the midfielders we currently have and I think there's genuine argument that winks could come in and be the best midfielder at the club. We are just absolutely bang average in that area of the pitch and if he can come in with a point to prove I'll be relatively happy with that.

I want players at the club that want to play for the club. Not players that helped relegate us and are almost certainly looking to find a way out of the club.

    Give the lad a chance!
