Still take Daka and Edouard.
-
Well if you read the arsenal forum, apparently money talks as they'll be able to double his wages and he'll be more likely to get into the England side there. Still don't see him going though, I still think one of the big selling point here is the community and togetherness as evidenced by the end of the FA cup final. Something that doesn't just happen over night.

Yes. Confess to not being impressed, so far. Think PL is a bridge too far for him at present….. based on an exhaustive and extensive sample of 45 minutes!
On a completely unrelated note, I still to this day have no idea why I hate the Portugal national team so much.

This reminds me so much of Kramaric. Chelsea wanted him and we worked so hard to convince him to come here, even his club, agent and family said Leicester will play you, you'd get more game time ect ect and we ****ed him off and now he's doing brilliant at Hoffenheim.
I will always believe as long as Vardy is here, weather he slow down, score less than 10 in a season or has a month of bad games, the very best we can hope for is a front 2 and one may argue we need to prepare for his departure but nobody of Dakas quality is going to want to sit on the bench for the next two years. Sure he'll play as we occasionally rotate Kel but I just feel that at least with Eduard he'll happily be a squad rotation player for a short while.

Assuming you mean Brentford I agree, they are a well-run club who might stick around. Not Chelsea but not minuscule, either. The problem is going to be surviving that first season and getting some cash flow going. That and hanging onto Frank, who’s going to be a person of interest for bigger clubs if Brentford survive. But their recruitment is excellent and that goes a long way.
Still - Norwich won the league pretty easily but if you had to bet on one club to stay up, who would it be? For me it would certainly be Watford. It’s a fine line - you don’t want to see every promoted club playing Dyche-ball, parking the bus and trying for 38 0-0 draws. But you have to make some concessions to reality.
Even though they played a weaker team against our weakned side they gave us a game in the first half and I remember thinking if they has the likes of Toney playing it would have been a tighter game. Don't strike me as a club to make head scratching signings either based from last summer. Think they'll stay up quite comfortable to be fair.
Burnley
Brighton (unfortunately)
Norwhich would be my three

I think Leicester ticks alot of boxes for him.
European football.
Probably getting paid more.
Plus gets to work with BR again.
The truth of it is he's probably another player who thinks he's too big for his club. There is a chance he might spend all season at left back if Justin takes a while to get back in form similar to Castange taking Perrieras position but for free or not or saving us money, this does not scream we want top 4, it whispers I'd like to stay in the league please and maybe top half if we can.
I'm so glad players don't read these because there'd be a few of us taking a right kicking.

Haaland ain't going to cost only £20m more though, this summer anyway. Raiola and his father are both wanting £20m each on top of the transfer fee and quotes from Raiola in the last few days suggests he wants a weekly wage of £1m.
I can see Haaland still being at Dortmund when the window shuts and the vultures circling next summer when his £60m release clause kicks in.
I should have edited it.
I believe Kane is worth 80m, think if he kicks up a stink they'll let him go for 100m, and Haaland accepting 150m (not 120m) my apologies.
But I agree, didn't know about the 60m release clause. So unless they made more than 100m it's gonna be 60m either summer. I bet we could blow our whole transfer budget over 2 seasons to get him!!

The last thing our defence is another young inexperienced centre back, they need another experienced pro to marshal them in case Evans is injured again.
Smalling has been great at Roma, I’m using his name as an example as much as anything but don’t think he would be a bad option.
When I started to read this I was half expecting it to read the last thing our defense needs is another Turkish centre back.

You think Kane is worth the same amount as Maguire? Madness!
No not at all, I think we robbed Man Utd and Maguire was worth no more than 40/50m in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, he's a decent player and scores a nice amount of goals but nowhere near worth 80m.
And I say 80m for Kane because you could spend 20m more or so for Halaand and he's younger, you'd probably get 14+ years of being top level opposed to 6/7 with Kane so it's either sell him now or not at all. Certainly not worth the 150m quoted that's for sure!
150m or 100m, I know who I'd choose. Again just going off what I've read.
-
How much are we thinking Kane would cost though is the question. I'd say no more than 80m but would be really stand out having all those better players around him.

Wasn't Brendon the manager at Celtic when he sold Demble and didn't sign anybody.
-
It'll still be funny watching Tottenham in the Europa Conference playing in Lithuania and Romania while we're in Spain and Italy.
-
Have to put most of the blame on Brendon. Why would you even consider putting Ndidi as centre back when you know what he's capable of in midfield.

If anybody was ever slightly convinced on Dan James, he's just missed a sitter.
Haven't got it in me to watch Leicester!

Thank God we've got the Saviour that is Ayoze Perez on the bench to save the day!!..😂😂
You watch, he'll come on and score a 30 yard screamer and we won't be laughing then.
-
Had to be that guy, see if he's still smiling when he's playing at Tottenham again next season.
-
If we finish 4th and Chelsea win champions league, do we still get in? Like when Man Utd win Europa and we had 5 in champions league. Rules keep changing I can't keep up.
This has probably been asked all week but can't find it anywhere.

I noticed last week we were odds on favourites to sign him with SkyBet even though I’d not seen a single link/rumour…
I noticed that too. Those odds are all very strange, at one point we were 1/10 to sign Bertrand, Grealish to Man City, and PSG likely to sign Messi and Ronaldo, oh and Countiniho to Everton. Would love to know where they get their sources from.
-
I'm assuming if he wants to play with wingers somebody in centre back is given the boot and we go back to a
4-2-3-1, which scares me at the thought of Kel up front on his own.

He was losing the ball in central areas a lot. I wasn't surprised he came off.
That's the good thing of a player like Perez though, he can slot in up top.
Personally I wouldn't break up Kelechi and Vardy partnership for the next two games.
What do you think to the idea of Kelechi and Barnes up front next season?

Agreed and it’s not like the game needs anymore spice.
Kasper
RiccyCastagne
Fofana
Cags
Thomas
Ndidi
Tielemans
Maddison
Nacho
Vardy
I was just thinking about that exact team now wondering how you'd fit Barnes into the team if he was available.

Imagine this time last year saying that we'd win a major trophy without Justin,Barnes,Ricardo. Along with Evans being subbed and Maddison not starting. Against a full strength Chelsea.
Yes we truly are MASSIVE

Do Barnes and Justin get a medal? I saw Fuchs with one around his neck so would be cruel if they didn't.

Well if this prostitue comes through then Narborough Road.

I did think so but this time it'll be different as Vardy will be gone either next summer or unlikely the one after. So he'll be playing a lot more. That's what Slimani lacked, the opportunity to play often otherwise I think he'd have done the job.
