  1. I'm curious if somebody could clear this up for me.

Assume we finish 5th and Manchester United finish 4th. If they win the Europa league and go into the Champions league, would we get their league place champions league spot? With our Europa league place dropping down to 7th? I remember one year we had 5 in the cl and 3 in the el.

Alternatively if Wolves win the Europa League it doesn't affect us now anyway.

  2. So I was just talking with a friend about Harry Kanes injury being good in terms of the league. (Hope I don't sound awful).

Then it hit me, Danny Ings and Tammy Abraham are the only two in form actual strikers if you presume Sancho and Sterling are wingers.

How about Vardys comments of coming out of retirement if we're desperate. I'd say we're desperate and England need him. Plus it'd push me to get tickets!

    Quintero for sure!

Wanted to judge him better after a second game but him and Lozano or whatever his name are the stand outs for me!

Worst England XI in my lifetime and I’m old enough to remember Carlton Palmer and Andy Sinton.

Friendly or not we’re 3 months away from a World Cup. Wasted opportunity to try out some viable partnerships rather than pissing about with Walker at centre back.

I totally agree, I think that Pope needed to or needs to be tried out in one of these friendlies, I think he has the best English record this season in lease goals conceded but I could be wrong.

  5. So this question isn't will he, but more could he be used to his full potential in a front three?

Based on current form, you'd have to say Vardy is the second choice to Harry Kane but after that the options are slim in terms of form, since England more often than not play with a front three in competitive games opposed to friendlies, if Vardy did start, Kane would be the main striker which could mean Vardy one side and somebody the other.

It's a silly question really because a lot of England players can play multiple positions but in this scenerio, can Vardy be a threat in a front three, not playing as the main striker.
