That's certainly why I've got them. I gave mine up in 2017 after 15 years when the kids were very young and I just didn't have the time or the money to go. As they've got older they've been desperate to go to more matches, but we've been living off scraps such as pre-season friendlies and early round cup games. I know match tickets have been available more recently, but the cost of buying match tickets for 4 people was still horrendously high. I've told both kids after each relegation that I'd completely understand if they want to support someone else now, but they've always stuck by Leicester and although I feel sorry for them, that actually makes me quite proud. Getting their tickets now, however much I hate the club right now, means they've got them for life now if they want them.
