Yes it's as simple as not picking him, or would you prefer he continues picking up any bonuses associated to playing on top of his wages?
Yeah you’re right actually good point, I would really love that

If Russell Martin has any sense, he'd use binning Winks off straight away as a way to score points with some fans whilst also setting the tone to building some kind of culture
Do you really think it’s as easy as just binning him off

Maresca’s time here really highlights how thick our supporters are.
Great manager and wish him the very best.

Cannot believe we decided against signing him and then spending the money on the crap we did
He would’ve potentially looked better in the PL I think

Yes it’s a game of opinions, but on his crossing ability alone he’s a better player and there’s been many poorer players playing left back over the 60 years I’ve watched City in all 2 divisions, even this season how many under 21 caps have the rest of this division have? Even between them! Yes he can be bettered but come on.
They’re both ****ing shit but if you can name me another player responsible for more goals in a single season than Thomas I’d be surprised

Yes he is, much worse than Thomas. He couldn’t trap a bag of cement, no qualities at all in a Leicester shirt, and a bad attitude to boot!
Game of opinions, Thomas for me is the worst left back I’ve ever seen in the top two divisions of English football. I’d have VK play if I had to choose between the two.

Na, you can think Thomas is bad whilst appreciating others have been worse.
Thomas has at least had good games for us, albeit not often enough and has had some contributions going forward. Not saying it’s anywhere near enough but Kristiansen has done literally nothing whilst being as poor defensively when he has on the odd occasion, made himself available to play. And he cost something like £17mill!
McGivern we were at a different level as a club and expectations but yeah also poor. Probably the worst 3 either way.
Oh for a Fuchs or Berner type now….even Powell. Those kind of characters.
Thomas for me is catastrophic. He basically gives a goal away every game, VK is shit but not that shit

He’s had Luke Thomas behind him all season no wonder he’s been ineffective, by far the worst left back in the league, and probably the worst we’ve ever had.

Manning left Huddersfield, you'd imagine we'd be interested.
Don’t think he’s in a fit state to be working to be honest, think he needs some time away from he game.

He said it before the Swansea game and with that there were 4 games left. 3 defeats, in games which included United and Chelsea away could’ve potentially have happened. What you’re missing is that after he said that and had we lost the next two, you very probably would’ve been on here saying: he ****ed it, we would’ve won it if we kept pretending we weren’t in a title race.
It’s a comment. It’s not that deep. There have been plenty over the years that have looked like a stroke of genius.
Ok thanks for clarifying, I can finally get some sleep tonight

This exactly. Circumstances and hindsight mean it’s easy to call it a stupid/bad/ridiculous quote (just like the Maddison one) when really it was just a quote.
This is Claudio in 2016:
"Now we go straight away to try to win the title. Yes, yes man. Only this remains"
Say we lost our next 3 and didn’t win the title - people would’ve been on here calling it as stupid.
James didn’t come here, nor did he play at any time as someone heading to League One. Dwelling is the right word.
I see your point but what a crap comparison, perhaps you need to check when Claudio said this quote.

Jesus ****ing christ are people still dwelling on one interview from months ago
Well Jordan James all but announced he won’t be staying here unfortunately, so of course that leads to people thinking back on his time here. Not really that baffling is it, calm down fella

A player said some words in an interview. We subsequently went down.
The players saying the words in the interview did not cause us to go down. Our relegation was due to numerous factors, but Jordan James' post-match interview was not among them.
Why the hell does it matter? It was just a poxy post-match interview.Hahah, a few of you are quite upset that I merely pointed out it was a stupid interview. Of course he’s not the cause of our relegation, you can’t seriously think I was implying that? Crikey!
Rightly or wrongly, when I look back at his year here I will remember some cracking performances but also that interview will stand out to me, same way that Maddison’s comments during our PL relegation still stay with me.

Shame that people are looking to target or blame a young footballer for showing a bit of passion and fighting spirit in an interview.
If his team mates had half of his motivation we wouldn't be in this mess.
I have no problem with him having confidence and positivity.
Nobody is blaming him stop being a drama queen.

He’s a 21 year old footballer.
He wasn’t complacent on the pitch, and he’s basically the only one who wasn’t, give him a break.
Im not hammering him, I like him.

I mean it wasn't though, was it?
What on earth is he supposed to say when asked the question? "Yeah we're ****ed mate"?
Of course it was stupid. ‘If you think Leicester can be in league one you’ve lost your mind’, well we’re now in league one so I suppose we must have lost our minds.
It’s a really naive interview.
-
Thanks for your service but that was a really stupid quote about us not going down - Madison esque
-
It’s a no from me. Too early in his coaching career and there’s also the chance he could be one of King Power’s defenders eg Albrighton and Huth. Walking on eggshells avoiding the obvious issues with Top/Rudkin as to not upset KP.

What’s the rumour today? As people say he’s got a few big things right with us over the last couple of years.
Yes and he’s got 1000 things wrong.
From memory he got Edouard and Ayew right due to a credible palace link - he’s absolutely terrible for all things LCFC. The bloke is just annoying

I wish Alan Nixon would shut the fvck up. A genuinely terrible journalist that gets 99% of stuff wrong about us, and has done for a while.
Why are all the articles/links/rumours right now all from him? Have we been relegated into the shit tier of journalists too?
‘Reluctantnicko’

Can someone link his interview pls

Genuinely never knew Leeds were so conscious of us until this evening. They’re loving our relegation more than Forest, Cov, Derby etc. mental

Well that just about sums him up. Did that stupid interview before saying he didn’t come here to go play in champ/league one. Well fvck off and play in the Greek super league instead!
