Tempted to splash out around 520k on MOTM Mbappe, SIF Telles, SIF Naldo and TOTS Sule to build this team. Everyone else is already in my club.
-
Using this team for now. Haha I know, I think I've fallen into the trap of wanting to use as many of my untradeables as I can but can't build a team to fit. Thinking of upgrading Neymar to one of his IFs, keeping Cavani up front and buying a RW Mbappe. I'm not good enough or have enough time to play WL so I prefer building fun hybrids to use.
-
Still haven't decided what team I want to buy yet. Not sure why that's so unbelievable.
-
I looked at him earlier but the combination of 3* weak foot, right footed at LB put me off. Probably the best thing to do is play him at RB on 7 chem.

The PL TOTS SBC that has just dropped is actually surprisingly well priced. The market is flooded right now, but the 30+ TOTS players I bought for less than 30k each and the 50 83/84 rated players should make me a tidy profit.
-
Bit the bullet and last night I opened the packs I'd saved up. Managed to pull TOTS Sane from my first pack! Tried him out for a few games, but I prefer my regular Neymar and SBC Cavani combo so sold him for 530k this morning

Has EA announced which TOTS leagues are being released today? Historically, it should be PL should we expect any SBC's as well? It'll be interesting to see which TOTS players can be earned from the new weekly objectives later today. Nice! That IF Almiron would fit perfectly into my MLS team, giving a strong link to IF Martinez. De Gea's not bad either
-
I can't imagine they would keep the requirements the same for the Prem and La Liga TOTS SBC's. Wouldn't be surprised if 2 TOTS players were needed and an 83/84 rated team. Anyway, invested in about 20 TOTS players for 27-30k each speculate to accumulate, right?
-
Thanks, good idea. It does seem strange that all of the ROTW players that EA have released are 84-85 rated. Maybe that's pointing towards the team rating for the major league TOTS SBC's being 84-85+ rated.

Packed TOTS Lemar last night in a mega pack. Haven't used him yet, mainly because I play Neymar and Cavani so he wouldn't fit in my team, but also because of his 2* WF. He's selling for around 155k on PS right now. Is his price likely to increase once he's out of packs or is it more likely that his price will drop as more and more better TOTS players are released?

Yes, MA was the last man but that in itself doesn't constitute a red card offence. I never said Zaha would get there ahead of Hamer. What I did say was that, had Hamer stayed instead of coming for the ball and picking it up near the edge of his box, then Zaha would have been clear favourite.
-
I'm not saying it wasn't a blatant foul, I'm questioning why it was a straight red card. From looking at The FA laws and rules, MA's so-called "rugby tackle" isn't violent conduct, it isn't serious foul play (you see players dragged down like that all the time to stop a counter attack without being sent off) and I don't believe it was denying Zaha an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
-
That's irrelevant. MA is there and gets a touch to the ball without committing a foul before then pulling Zaha down. Zaha isn't through on goal after MA touches the ball. Also, Hamer gets to the ball near the edge of his penalty area. If he was on his line, then I'd agree with you that Zaha would have got to the ball before Hamer.
-
I fail to see how it is a clear goalscoring opportunity. Yes, Albrighton deliberately brought him down as the last man, but he has to have "denied a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity", committed "serious foul play" or "violent conduct" for Albrighton to be given a red card in that situation. A yellow, in my opinion, would have been the correct outcome. SENDING-OFF OFFENCES (http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct) A player, substitute or substituted player who commits any of the following offences is sent off: denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (except a goalkeeper within their penalty area) denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent whose overall movement is towards the offender's goal by an offence punishable by a free kick (unless as outlined below) serious foul play spitting at an opponent or any other person violent conduct using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures receiving a second caution in the same match

Watch from 2:30 on this video. Stupid foul but not a red.
-
Before dragging him down, Albrighton did play the ball backwards and used his body to stop Zaha running through on goal. It was only as Albrighton was going down, he then dragged Zaha down with him, committing the foul. It definitely looks clear cut to me that Zaha was never going to get there before Hamer. I can see why Mike Dean gave it, but surely there were grounds for appeal.
-
Based on what? It was a blatant foul every day of the week, but Hamer was getting to the ball before Zaha therefore it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity.
-
Not sure if this has even been discussed, but should it have even been a straight red card? Albrighton did stupidly drag Zaha down and was the last man, but did he prevent a goal scoring opportunity? To me, no. It looked as though Hamer was easily going to get to the ball ahead of Zaha. Very harsh red card for me, should have been a yellow.

Got Rabiot (who gets strong links with my untradeable Neymar and SBC Cavani) and Neves from my TOTS packs tonight. Definitely happy with that.

No problem. I saw a Youtube video last week which talked you through it, can't for the life of me remember which one. I solely tried it last week just to see how well it worked and I was regularly winning 4-1 or 5-2 against the strongest teams and averaging between 2200 - 2600 points per match. The main thing to remember is to keep possession, especially in the 1st half, even if that means going into halftime at 0-0. When the AI does start to press higher up the pitch in the 2nd half, that's when gaps appear in their defence and should be much easier to score. Also, make sure you have good wingers on the bench, switch to the 3-4-2-1 and bring them on in the 2nd half. Having 2 sets of overlapping wingers on each flank is OP when attacking.

There's an exploit when playing against the AI using Legacy Defending on Legendary difficulty. Pause in-game, switch controller settings to Legacy Defending. When the AI has the ball, hold R2, X and O for two of your players to automatically press and tackle your opponent. You do have to manually select your players using L1 though. If you're winning or drawing after around 70 mins, the AI will go ultra attacking and change formation. When that happens, give the AI a corner and run one of your attackers up the pitch to counter attack them. Aim to score 5 goals, get 60%+ possession, 10 shots on target and try to get 10 corners to get the most points, in that order. Used this to get Elite 2 without even playing a lot of my matches last week.

I got Bender from my Community TOTS pack. I would have done the EFL one too if it needed a lower rated team, but the odds of packing one of the usable or higher rated EFL TOTS players isn't very good. Made about 250k profit from buying TOTS players just above their discard price (19k - 23k) before the SBC was released and selling them for 30k - 37k each. Does anyone know when the Ligue 1 player of the season SBC is going to be released? I've got a load of IF Lo Celso's on my transfer list that I bought for 15k each and around 70+ 83 rated players bought for 1.5k or less.
-
I got Sessegnon's SBC card and the only problem was that he needed English players around him to get chem, although TOTS Bryan at LB looks awesome and gives Sessegnon a strong link. Opened a few common gold packs and got big bad Sol Bamba TOTS!

I can't find it on the PS Store.
