The frustrating thing about our toxic fans is not only are they utterly toxic but they are also unbelievably useless and lazy as fuch to boot.
Making zero progress in applying pressure to force the Thais out. They can't even get Rudkin out. The so called "protests" are an absolute embarrassment with a few cretins holding soggy miss spelt signs. And several failed go fund me's. They cant even get themselves into a organised group with a name.
They are fickle as fuch too with the Rudkin out chanting completely grinding to halt for the Maresca season.
They are also incabeable of understanding nuance other City fans are in their minds either as toxic as them or some kind of King Power fan boys. The idea that you can think the club is a shit show but not agree with their ineffective, self destructive toxicity is totally alien to them.
All they have succeeded in achieving is turning foxes talk into a boring miserable echo chamber contributing negatively to the clubs chances of success.
I will end my rant with a question to the toxic boys how close out of 10 do you think King Power is to selling up due to fan pressure? And has that number changed over the last 4 years?

That innings was bloody marvelous such grit and character from this team. Yes we all know they aren't good enough to stay up, that's ok it happens. All you want is a team that gives everything and doesn't lay down and these are certainly doing that.

How are they going to be knackered? We were bowled out in 60 overs, with over 20 overs of spin used. And they will have a nice rest tonight and know that unless we score 400 plus ( incredibly unlikely) they have won the game.
Commentators just having a long discussion about how tired the Essex bowlers looked yesterday fyi!

Personally I wouldn't fancy fast bowling 20 overs in day like their opening bowlers will have then coming back the very next day with a old ish ball and have to get 10 wickets.
But different story if they get a couple of wickets tonight though!

I fully expect to have egg on my face by close of play but I think Essex made a mistake enforcing the follow on! Providing we can navigate the next 10 overs unscathed we get tomorrow with an not new ball and a knackered bowling attack.

Don't mean to be rude but this elderly commentator from Essex is unbelievably bad!
Awful! I feel bad criticising him to harshly I genuinely think he has dementia or something similar.

If you have the attack to exploit that, fine. Only B. Green had them in any trouble though.
Looking at the forecast and our recent record, we should have backed ourselves to bat. We keep putting all our chips on having sides 50 for 7 within an hour but that just ain't gonna happen in Div 1.
It's hypothetical but Essex probably do have the attack to exploit those conditions and we would have been 80-5 or something at tea and everyone would have been saying why the hell did we bat!
I don't necessarily think it's toss decisions letting us down we just have comfortably the worst/most unbalanced team in the division

I don't get our obsession with putting teams into bat.
Normally i agree but they were unbelievable conditions to bowl for the first hour today.

Not sure about that.He took 2 wickets at an average of 180 when he got selected for England agree not improved though
Yeah I was more thinking of the limited over stuff, I remember him being a lot more threatening but that could just be that he had a good game in the one day cup final and my memory playing tricks on me.

I'm not sure why Rishi Patel isn't getting a bowl as 6th bowler (or maybe 4th/5th). It's pretty obvious that spin is our strong suit, and he wouldn't be any worse than certain people who are *still* being given a bowl. Questions need to be asked about why the seamers are underperforming so badly / expensively.
Hulls lack of development is particularly worrying he is actually worse now at 21 than he was when he was 19. That shouldn't happen!

If you had told me after the first 3 games that we would be joint second after 5 I would have looked at you like you were smoking crack!
Despite not looking convincing even in our two wins a combination of small improvements, terrible opposition and other results going our way means we are well in this competition!

Chance that Rehab will be playing at Hove, Bashir's been given the nod over him for the Lord's Test XII.
Good effort (79 red out of 165-9) from Gumbs in our 2nd XI Twenty20 win over Notts today with Alex Green taking an impressive 4-24, Trevaskis 3-18, and Scriven returning from injury. Hull and Wood were laced for 76 off 6 overs between them as the Foxes won a thriller by 1-run.
He will be playing for the England lion's won't he? Good chance we him for to 2 county championship games starting the end of next week especially as he hasn't played any cricket this year.

a) have to always be
and
b) everyone else has to be.
stop ramming it down everyone’s throat how unhappy you are and let people get on with what they want to do.
its the same posters and it is becoming extremely boring.
Great post, this is why I don't tend to post on foxestalk much any more (the Leicestershire cricket thread aside) every thread whether it's about old players, the ground staff, new players
, the Jamie Vardy Documentary becomes on opportunity for the same old misrable posters to make the same old misrable points.
Yes the club is shit show, but whinging and moaning every second of every day on a internet message board clearly isn't going to affect any change besides making yourself and your fellow fans more misrable.
If someone wants to take their family to charity game with some of the clubs biggest legends on a hot weekend then good fuching luck enjoy yourself life is short and it's been a long couple of seasons!

Is it me or do we have a really good record at Old Trafford against Lancs?
Commentator said last night that they have only ever lost 10 games (now 11) in the blast at home and 3 (now 4) of them have been against Leicester.

Jesus Christ! Talk about trying to snactch defeat out of the jaws of victory! They look so fragile and devoid of confidence! However lots of positives particularly how well we bowled!

Where to start? Poor toss decision (again) why drop Budinger? Bowling is atrocious, no tactical bowling plan by Green and fielding like they were all pissed up!
Hard to argue! The middle order batsman aka turner, cox Kelly are doing their jobs the openers and bowlers absolutely fuching dreadful.

Harsh appraisal. We've improved incrementally in the Championship in recent years, won a 50-over trophy three years ago and go up and down in T20.
It's a disappointing season so far but it can be recovered if we start learning from our mistakes.
Sadly I feel like the either win every game or everyone is shit outlook is moving over from football fans to cricket fans.
Personally I feel like the club is still moving in the right direction. All tonight needed was one of the 3 openers to score some runs in the power play and we were in business. Silly decision to bowl though!

I feel like critisim of Fonz and Taylor is a little bit unfair we lost Maharaj, rehan and Handscombe right before the start of the season all are around world class or in Pete's case fringe world class.
Because of the faff around losing Pete and Maharaj we missed out on van beek who was excellent last season. Eskanzi looks a good edition but the other signings have so far been disappointing and the side is massively unbalanced hence the helm loan.
So what I am trying to say is due to circumstances out of our control we have actually got a worse side than last season in a much harder division.
Hopefully they can get it right and if they don't i have every faith in the coaching set up to guide us back up.

Leicestershire need to get a lot more ruthless to survive in this league
