  1. Arsenal have been like this for years now , no fight whatsoever, they should be joint bottom after we gifted them the points
  2. Sunday Times has predicted 20th spot for LCFC, going down with Norwich and Watford. Another season trying to prove people wrong.
  3. If we start badly he will be torn to shreds in the media, it will only affect his relationship with the fans if the football is poor and he does the Tinkerman act in a way that frustrates ie replacing Vardy for Konchesky if we are losing. If we do well he will be seen as the exrmpler of going for an experienced coach and will be lauded by all.
  4. To be fair nothing particularly outrageous on the Forest forum, mild amusement which is what we'd have if it was the other way round.
  5. I'd imagine the fans of all the teams who stayed up last year are all hoping to 'kick on' Sunderland will be thinking they must improve with Advocaat staying,Villa fans probably thinking the same, though be no surprise if Sherwood is gone by November. Newcastle, who knows. No real axe to grind with Stoke, respect what they have done and how they have done it, their owner is not short of cash either. They have never struggled since coming up and you can't see them struggling with Hughes in charge. Like the vast majority of teams in the PL, us included, they are always one crap manager away from relegation. Who will be their Peter Taylor!
  6. When I first went down me dad took us in the North Stand and the Orange seats. Sat right behind the goal a few times, so close to the pitch, alway remember the old guy connected with the club , forget his name now, always stopped for a chat with the young supporters. Also remember the abandoned Southampton game in 1983, I can still see a distant photo from a programme with me and dad in our bright blue kagools! After that it was the standing family area then finally the kop and double decker with my mates, very rarely went in the East Stand. Just one thing why did we have orange seats?!
  7. Understand the 'stand alone moment' Wembley 93 play off final vs Swindon when Steve Thompson made it 3-3 after being 3-0 down was probably the greatest feeling i've had as a Leicester fan, though that led to nothing as we conceded a penalty and lost 4-3!
  8. Remember the last league game there against Spurs, mate bought some disposable cameras, just had a look, I'd just got back from China the night before was totally zoned out but great to look at those pics again, especially on the pitch and taking photos on the regular landmarks we passed to the ground, the turnstile pub, the newsagent etc
  9. I've just been listening to 606, quite nice hearing random fans ringing up talking about their own teams and then saying how good Leicester look and their enthusiasm and team work. Long may it last!
  10. No doubt Arsenal and Man Utd will mock the drum, the poznan(hopefully they will see it a few times!), however everyone knows the atmosphere at the emirates and old trafford is usually crap and will have no problem reminding them when we visit. Perhaps its just an away fans thing having a sense of superiority over home fans. All the match reports commented on the atmosphere in a good way from saturday so it cant be all bad! As for the poznan i doubt it will reach H block where i sit, which is good as there are a couple of real lard arses close by who could cause an earthquake if they started jumping up and down!
  11. Definately a trend now , us West Brom and Burnley.
  12. Actually seems to be the most often quoted 3 now, us, West brom and Burnley.
  13. Add him to the growing list, perhaps pearson should stick some of these predictions on the dressing room wall as motivation.
