Maswanhise is a free kick magnet

Maswanhise is probably in with a shout of making the Community Shield squad, looked promising so far

How many new signings now. It'll be interesting to see how quickly they all gel with each, hopefully it'll be OK.
Scofield will be number 7 (think it was 12 last summer), it’s a lot but not uncommonly huge for the WSL…definitely helps that a lot of them seem to know many of the existing players though

England U21, work horse midfielder, probably last permanent signing then 2 loans per Jonno’s interview last week

Sounds like a good signing. What do we reckon the ambitions are this season? Top half?
Based on current squads I’d have us 6th/7th so right around mid table, depending on how things shake out 5th is the upper limit in all likelihood. Getting sucked into that 10th/11th/12th relegation fight would be pretty disappointing considering how we’re building the team.
Going on the manager’s interview with Stringer last week it sounds like one more permanent signing and two loans to come in still.

She’s played for England, hasn’t she?
Looks like they want to make a go of it in the top flight, at least.
Reckon they’re aiming to be ‘best of the rest?’
Yeah 17 caps including a couple starts at the 2019 World Cup, will no doubt be aiming to get back there too at only 28 years old

Good to know that penalty practice is needed

Very first game of pre season in terms in f match sharpness, nice to see Maswanhise get a run out

Where do they play their home games?
King Power will host a couple at last word (big TV games), smaller ground for the rest

From what is being said on Twitter, apparently quite a surprise Remi Allen has been let go?
Her’s & Charlotte Fleming’s departures are both mutual consent rather than contract expiring, guess they’ve got moves lined up, shame to see Remi in particular leave

I thought it was a crass piece of virtue signaling and the grinning, whilst a man was receiving CPR, was incredibly ill judged.

My knowledge of the LCFC Ladies is very limited, but my understanding is it’s very much a family affair? Surely they’ll have to leave the nepotism behind if they want to progress as a professional outfit?
Good luck to them though, and will tune in next season if they’re on the telly box.
The dad/former owner/chairman has moved into a non-exec/advisory role I believe since KP took over and it looks as though Holly (club captain) might be moving into off the pitch stuff, we’ve also brought in Russ Fraser as Head of Women’s Football from West Ham last year and are looking outward to fill more roles so there are some changes/non-family members coming in.
That being said Jade (General Manager) is seen as having a great mind for the business by people in the women’s game and Jonathan the head coach has been doing a great job in his role. So all in all a bit of yes and a bit of no
