The joy of 2 home games in 4 days. 2 1-1 draws incoming. Goes without saying we need to beat Blackburn to instil a bit of confidence but all so joyless at the moment.
-
Just roll with it, it’s depressing that it looks like Forest and Coventry will be a league higher than us next season but it’s all cyclical, our time will come again be 5, 10 or even 20 years but it will.

Wednesday fans finally snapped, they were apathetic for a few years (dare i say it our current mindset) but the last few months something changed and they realised they had to take any means possible to try and get the owner out. I fear they may reach the premier league before we do even though they’ll be in league one next season.

At the legends event, just announced the score , a minute later Danny Simpson said ‘wish we were
still able to be involved, lot of the audience went ‘so do we’
The bond they have was amazing. Huth loves taking the mick out of Albrighton!

Hope they keep us updated at De Montfort Hall for those of us at the Leicester legends event.

Looks obvious that the relegation slots will be filled by at least one team who was not in the championship last season. Sunderland appear to have got their recruitment spot on. Wolves lack of investment looks like it will finally catch up with them

Tonight is what it is with the transfer window open. If this is the starting 11 for the Oxford game then we can settle in for a season of mediocrity…. at best.
-
Think either us or them get a reality check tonight.
-
Let’s face it there are going to be a few desperate premier league clubs throwing money around as the relegation slots are not a foregone conclusion. Be pleasantly surprised if he is still here when the window closes.

We must go back to checking players character and employ a no dick head policy like Pearson or that Frank had at Brentford.
Thats gonna take time which rules out anything like that this transfer window. What a mess

Does feel like something is going to kick off in the near future if the club mismanage the next 2 weeks. How that manifests itself is anyone’s guess.
-
I fear this downward spiral is about to gather some pace if we sell Abdul and BEK and bring no one of note or potential in. The Birmingham game might showcase 2 clubs going in completely opposite directions.
-
well done to the use who blame the fans for our demise and not the fools who run the club. Saw it last week at the ground , accepting mediocrity gets you mediocrity

Imagine he won’t be involved today then

Went to his book signing at the KP couple of years ago. Really nice man, took the time to talk to each and every one of the fans after the event despite it running over. Was happy to take multiple pics/autographs. Has some great stories too, would recommend going!
I went to that as well, the queue was glacial but well worth it as most people ended up having a 2 or 3 minute chat and a few photos with the man who made the late 90s such a glorious time.

Biggest fear is what our squad will look like after September 1st, another manager thrown under the bus probably

First time we’ve lost in round one since 1979.
good omen then , we won the old
second division that season though what Jock Wallace would have made of this lot god only knows.

If we sell Fatawu, Winks and BEK, we may as well all give up at this point.
Added with a points deduction and the probability of a drop in morale mid table would beckon. Literally anything could happen and we don’t really know how much financial trouble we are in if any.
-
There is probably some mild curiosity about what happens to us next especially if we implode big time. If we get bogged down in the championship no one will think about us until we manage to get back into the premier league whenever that may be. Bit like Sheff Weds, no one has really thought about them for years but all of a sudden people are watching from afar of a potential mega meltdown.

KDH incoming!

Just highlights the clubs issues are not who the manager is but who is hiring the managers.

Im sure the EFL are waiting for the moment of maximum impact to give us our points deduction.
