  1. as crazy as it seems their mad owner will be furious if they ‘only’ qualify for Europa League. Nuno will be under massive pressure next season if they finish below 5th. Be even funnier if we could add to their woes but we are so poor we are still probably going to lose
  2. Same old same old, 0-0 at half time, they realise how poor we really are , 0-2 loss per usual. Our players get clapped off by the alarming amount of fans who accept low standards from highly paid players who dont give a damn. Ruud has a laugh with a Southampton player and the players give a half hearted clap and Conner Coady goes on social media repeating that he still can’t believe the reception Wolves fans gave him last week.
  3. Must be almost certain we’ll play Wrexham first day of the season. Sky will demand it.
  4. The plane was not really for those in the stadium, it got national attention, i took a photo and sent it to my non leicester mates who were surprised (they thought it was just me having a downer on the way the club is run) If nothing changes and we are rudderless in mid table next year perhaps it will be time for tennis balls🤣
  5. Big test for Forest , not so much that it’s Spurs, more the fact that after previous bad results they have tended to bounce back straight away. If they did lose tonight it would suggest they are feeling the pressure. We just need to turn up at their place and finish off their dreams.
  6. Seeing how Ricardo gets on is the only thing of any real interest with that lineup
  7. Well at least they’ll be able to start the ‘what went wrong review 24/25’ and compare it to the ‘what went wrong review 22/23’ WILL ANYONE TAKE ANY FECKING RESPONSIBILITY AT THIS FOOTBALL CLUB😡
  8. Means we can’t be officially relegated before we kick off.
  9. We’ve got 18 points from 32 games. I think we were entitled to expect little bit more
  10. There is the crazy scenario that West Ham beat Southampton, Wolves win at Man Utd so relegation is officially confirmed at 4pm Sunday, At 4.01pm we enact the relegation clause mutual termination and Ruud leaves 25 minutes before kick off😃 Of course I am not being serious but then again we are not a serious football club at the moment!
  11. It can be hard to listen to someone you disagree with but was interesting all the same. Too much nowadays everyone likes to only listen to views they agree with. As someone said in previous remarks you can now understand why the club is where it is though. Nothing is going to change and we should be worried.
  12. If Rudkin and Whelan are still around next season may as well accept the club will end up in a continual doom loop and we’ll end up like Stoke
  13. bloody hell , on a bus into town and group behind me saying ‘if they actually backed the players they would appreciate it and try and play well’ FFS Nearly got off , this fan base is dead
  14. Should have entered him into crufts. Though the way this season has gone he’d have bitten a child and ended up being put down.
  15. Given that champions league qualification may end up being decided by goal difference you’d have thought Newcastle would see this as a stand out game to score a few as someone mentioned earlier.
  16. Christ Wrexham will probably be overtaking us next season! In all seriousness though they will find it a lot tougher in the championship, possibly even go straight back down given the size of the cubs in the division . Still one hell of a ride though and must be great to have that thing called optimism!
  17. Of course we are gone but I imagine from a legal standpoint any release clause/lower compensation figure will only occur once it is official.
  18. I assume he will be gone the day after relegation is officially confirmed. There must be a clause that allows for this in his contract. That can be the only reason he is apparently under no pressure and does not show as he knows his nightmare reign is nearly at end. Such a strange period where he is performing terribly but everyone else is pretty apathetic about it.
  19. This season deserves a 0-10☹️
  20. People talk about football fans being gentrified nowadays but we’ve been Ginettafied. Just happy to accept crap and a free beer every now and again.
  21. As someone who missed 77/78 by one season as my first game was September 78 this’s feels like our worst ever top flight season. Only 01/02 comes close but even that ended on a mini high when we beat Spurs in the last ever game at Filbert Street. 94/95 was just lack of quality not effort , 03/04 was just crap defending after 80 minutes but was a fairly entertaining but chaotic team. 22/23 should always be seen as the worst as it should never have been allowed to happen with the team we had and will likely set us back 10 years at least. If this team played our 07/08 relegation team (to league 1) it would end 0-0 with not a single shot in 90 minutes. I just don’t get the apathy when it should be real anger.
  22. Harvey been pretty decent today for Newcastle
  23. Nailed on we play Birmingham or Wrexham first game!
  24. I can still see a fairly high take up of season ticket renewals in the summer (probably a reduction compared to the summer of 2023 when it seemed likely there was a good chance we’d bounce back) but if we have a mediocre season in the championship I can see there being a real drop off of renewals for 26/27 season and at that point a lot more season tickets becoming available. I’m in the east stand and yes it’s not the greatest of atmosphere and yes I have sat with the same people for donkeys years but it’s still up to the kop to generate the atmosphere like it is at most grounds, that’s why i’ll never knock the singing section, just need more of them and bring safe standing into the equation. We need lots of new fans who have that awe entering a football stadium. I guess many of us have been going for years and in the main it’s just a ritual. In our defence we don’t boast like Liverpool fans do about their atmosphere and everyone outside of the media knows thats a myth.
