It's the bloody weather mate, anything above 15 degrees and within about 5 mins I look like I've done a stint on Nightmare Niagra at American Adventure
It really is rank. No wonder the Ethiopians etc smash everything when they train in this day in day out for fun.
I'm pissed off after 200m if its 15c plus to be honest. Winter running (if its dry) is king.

Gabby Logan saying Pochettino dresses like he's in a cartel when he jus looks like he's gone in on the menswear at M&S (what a menswear selection that is by the way)
Rooney asking for Pochs number to get style tips. Wtf.

This Portugal team should be built around Fernandes. Ronaldo shouldn’t be playing.
Pretty sure most people said the same thing at the last Tournament.
Trying to accommodate Ronaldo and then basically instructing the entire team to pass the ball to him at every single opportunity is never going to work well.
Mardy, ratty bunch of ****ers they are too.

We still exist? Wasn't aware.

Is everyone in Belgium born slow?
One of the most overhyped tournament football teams to ever exist.
Dull as dishwater too.

Had a pretty depressing and slightly heated conversation with my in-laws yesterday, which resulted in me politely asking them to believe a little less of what they read in the Daily Mail. Pretty much all the things I would have had on a boomer bingo card came up
The reason I can only visit my mum and dad for 15 minutes at a time. And if the news is on TV then I might aswell not bother going in. They never used to be like this.

I did my first official pacer job for this race yesterday and made the mistake of telling the 20 or so people following me that the next mile was flat - only to discover that HS2 had built a small mountain halfway down the road. It did not go down well.
1:43 is good going on that course, well run!
That was a killer. Came after a downhill too, turned a corner into a straight section of road and saw that in the distance. Audible groans from everyone around me

Finished Leamington Half Marathon this morning in 1:43:41
Much hillier that I expected, but a nice scenic route.
Feet are killing.

She seems boring to me. I thought she'd be trying harder with how much she wants people to like her.
On the footy side and based on how much they all seemed to miss home, I'd imagine they'll be staying in England for next season.
Yeah she is pretty boring but thats what I mean about normal. She isn't giving it the me, me, me look at me stuff, seems very family orientated, doesn't come across as the narcissistic bitch the media portray her as. She's just quite dull and normal.

Enjoying the series so far tbh. I think Becky is alright. Comes across normal enough to me.

I’m eyeing up the deviate nitro elite 4’s but not sure if it’s just because they look nice or if it’s because they are a fast shoe.
I could do with a Plated shoe tbh which is why I've not pulled the trigger on the Pures.
Only bad thing ive heard about the Nitro Elite 4s is that the logos, writing etc seems to peel off and disintegrate pretty rapid which obviously doesn't affect performance, just an aesthetic thing.

Them Puma Pure Nitros look like they might be a bit tasty at that price point. Getting a lot of hype. Released to general public on the 4th.

A week to go until my Half and tbh, the heat in the last 10 days has really had an impact on me. I was feeling fit as a fiddle 10 days ago but the miles have been a slog since then.
Will do an easy and a tempo 5K during the week this week to keep the legs moving and then hope for the best.

Tbf they are better than crack heads.
I work in town a couple of days a week and you openly see drug deals and people taking drugs on a daily basis. Yesterday, I saw a couple of very young lads (probably about 16-20) clearly giving a homeless man drugs in the door way of the high cross. You’d hope the reason it happens so openly is so that the police can watch and figure out who the bosses are.
Misplaced hope im afraid.

Can vouch for @SecretPro's Saltstick shout — they're great. Decent hydration and stopped my sweat tasting like I'd dunked my head in the sea n all
Fkin love the orange ones, just let them sit in my mouth while im running and let them turn to a crumbly mush. Perfection.

No point running in this unless you drink Electrolytes before you run, during your run, take SaltStick chewables (an absolute weapon of a product) during your run and drink electrolytes when you get back. The amount of people that Run and think plain water will sort them out is mental.
If I'm not carrying fluids on a run (which tbf is most of the time) then Saltstick chews are the way forward. They are insanely good. If I'm struggling and I take those, with 5 mins I'm feeling feckin great. Has a far greater impact on me than taking gels etc.
