  1. Andros Townsend...

    maybe 12.7
  2. Leicester Sign Habib Makanjuola

Habib Makanjuola (born 19 April 1999) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder without a club. Youth Career Signed a professional contract with Chelsea of England at the age of 13 and was described as Xavi, Iniesta, Lionel Messi, C.Ronaldo and Fabregas all rolled in one. Spent sometime at Birmingham City and Charlton. Had a trial with Leicester City in July 2017. International Makanjuola was taken to the U17’s World Cup in 2013 aged 14 and was an unused substitute as Nigeria won the competition. Sounds like we found a gem
  3. Sheffield United (A) Match Thread

Subs: Jakupovic, Knight, Mendy, Mahrez, Albrighton, Vardy, Okazaki
  4. Francesco Acerbi

Haven't watched him play beyond youtube videos, but seems to be a decent player from what I can find on paper. Second highest rated center half in Serie A this year and played every minute in the Europa League. Good size, completes his passes, and bangs in a few goals a year. Would probably still prefer Nastasic, but Acerbi does look to have some good qualities.

  6. Stoke.. Next up.. Thoughts..

    I heard it here first...
  7. Villa up next... Early thoughts?

Inner in for King in the starting Xi. Kante not starting.

May have misread it, but Atlanta is in America, Atalanta is in Italy.
  9. Realistic signings and other chit chat.

Apparently after his deal with Inter fell through Tino-Sven Susic is available. Seems to be a nice attacking midfielder, who plays on the wing for his club, and is apparently available for around 5 million euros. Other premier league teams are looking, but would be worth a look. Maybe some of our Croatian friends know more about him?
  10. Callum McManaman

Apparently close to moving to West Brom. "According to Sky sources, West Brom are close to completing a deal for Wigan midfielder Callum McManaman. The Baggies have gone with a bid deemed good enough by the Championship side after rejecting earlier approaches."
  11. Who do you sign?

Would love a left back, because watching Konch is painful, but like others have mentioned we've looked better at the back lately. As a result I think more quality in midfield might be even more beneficial than upgrades at the back (we need both obviously). We're woeful at keeping possession and I feel like another solid holding midfielder (who can stay healthy) could help a lot. Not sure who would be available, but it's something we could really use to take a little pressure off the back and maybe let us build something up for once instead of hoofing it every time.
  12. Danny Ings

'Sky Bet can report a run of money today on Danny Ings to join Liverpool. The Burnley striker was 10/1 for an Anfield switch this morning but is now after consistent money on the mooted move. He’s 2/5 to stay with the Clarets beyond the deadline.' No idea what the cause is, but maybe he'll leave Burnley.
  13. Michael Bradley

I second this. Bradley is a solid Defensive Mid and an above average playmaker. I'd say the move is unlikely, but I'd welcome him with open arms.
  14. Centre back... Coming soon (maybe)

Don't think so. Played in Italy, Turkey and the Czech league.
  15. Tomas sivok

He's a solid veteran in my opinion. Haven't seen him play a lot recently but he has been mainstay in Besiktas' team for years. Also played quite a bit for the Czech national team. I'd be pretty happy with this. ETA: It looks like he hasn't played as much at Besiktas over the past couple of years, but I still feel like he could add stability at the back.
