Season Ticket Latest: Blue Army Backing Leads To Cap Increase

We’d like to thank our supporters for their outstanding commitment ahead of the 2026/27 season, with 22,292 Season Tickets already sold for the new campaign.

Despite a challenging period for the Club, we’ll have the Blue Army right behind us as we take on League One from August, with a total of 17,954 Season Ticket Holders renewing for 2026/27 - representing a 79.1 per cent renewal rate.

A further 4,338 fans secured new Season Tickets during the initial sales period, taking the total number sold to 22,292 before sales were paused for a planned reconciliation process in May.

With enquiries over additional availability still high, we have taken the decision to increase the Season Ticket cap for 2026/27 to 23,500, making a further 1,208 Season Tickets available.

These additional Season Tickets went on sale from 10am on Monday 15 June.

We are grateful to all supporters who renewed and purchased during the initial sales period and to those who have shown such strong interest in joining us for the season ahead.

Once Russell Martin is announced there will likely be a flurry of cancellations probably explains the timing of this announcement……

The Cooper window crippled us.  Effectively fxxked the budget for years overspending on shit players who we couldn't hope to move on.

And yet still some fans harp on that he shouldn’t have been sacked, appalling appointment and horrendous manager whose very short spell did so much damage

  3. He really wouldn’t have been anywhere near my shortlist purely because I wanted to see us move away from that type of football and look to play more a high energy, high intensity style.

However my love for Leicester City, means that if he is appointed he comes in and is able to get something really positive going here because this club sure as hell needs it. I really do hope if appointed he can be a real success, but I have huge reservations.

  4. I really don’t want to see him anywhere near the club next season, I think his ego will not allow him to hang around league one getting bullied week in and week out. I think had we managed to stay up then he would have hung around for the final 12 months of his contract and feathered his nest, I think relegation will see him cut and run albeit for a very minimal fee.

  5.  Not a fan of this appointment as I really wanted us to move in a different direction, move away from this style of play and bring in some fresh ideas. Martin is very much more of the same. I think it just goes to prove that despite back to back relegations and 3 in the last 4, plus the hiring of McCarron, it’s still very much Aiyawatt and Rudkin calling the shots and their obsession with this slow, turgid style is not dwindling.

Have they thought about asking Potter?

They did he told them to piss off so they moved to Brussell ….. after asking Enzo back in February, it would appear they have just dusted off the shortlist from 2023 😂

Challinor would be a step in the right direction and Louie Barry as his first signing,  promotion here we come!

I really hope Challinor is under consideration however I have a feeling he goes to Salford, just something I had heard.

Challinor with Pearson back as director of football would be a pleasant surprise. Two serious men in the building for the first time in 5+ years that combined would be capable of rebuilding the club.

That's probably our best case scenario right now.

It isn’t going to happen given we have only just appointed McCarron as sporting director and no way Pearson comes back until Rudkin clears off.

I said to him, do you think we can get £5m, he said no chance! United looking to pay half that

Our only hope is he stays fit and has a decent World Cup and attracts interest from elsewhere and drives the price up to already offset any outstanding book value and interested parties cover his full wage.
