Found it amazing really in the last two years he hasn't been considered for at least one england call up, can put some excellent crosses into the box. Perhaps something England need, yes we've got a few good wingers currently but a lot prefer dribble it in the box rather than cross it.

TBH, his crossing since the start of last season has been pretty cwap - (though his little chip for Vardy last week was great).  The difference yesterday, was that he played it on the floor at lot more, and so the only crosses he really put in were the corners - which were also cwap...

If he can get his radar working properly, again, it'd be awesome, but if he keeps playing like yesterday, we'll make do without them.

Manchester City v West Ham score prediction?....

    I'm going for 5-1.

I've gone for 3-0...  Been a really good weekend for my BBC Predictions - 4 exact scores, 3 correct results, so far - up to 4114 in their overall league (with one exact score (from Bournemouth vs Southampton) to be added to my place) :)

  3. I think I let my (BBC Predictor) predictions this week get a little out of hand - predicted what I wanted to see instead of what I expected - apart from the LCFC vs Spurs match, of course :( - if there was ever a time to do that...  Not doing so well...  At least Arsenal won/demolished Huddersfield, so my wife is happy :D

One touch, pass it off and move... so simple, but so few of our lot do it.

It's the move into space to receive the ball that's the real problem, esp. in midfield - (see my previous post).

No way, Arsenal fans are the biggest bunch of whiny entitled fookers around. Would much rather see the more down to earth Man City fans get the success. My favourite 'big 6' team by far, hope they win it

At least you've got a choice - my wife is an Arsenal fan, so I don't (if I want her to support Leicester, too).  (Anyway, time for beddies...)

He is taking 2/3 players away from others giving them space, they need to learn to exploit that space and Mahrez needs to make that pass before being swamped. If he can make that pass to others in space it is as good as him going past his man/men..

Our midfield isn't good at finding space for him to pass to on the inside though, so he usually ends up either having to run at their defence and do it all himself, (which is where getting marked by 3 players stops him dead), try and squirt a pass through to Vardy, if even possible, or passing it back to Simpson...  Getting the MF free on the inside as a possible outlet for the wingers is currently a big difference between our team and better teams we play against atm, IMO.

If Albrighton was anywhere near as good as some Leicester fans think he is, he'd have been in the England squad a long time ago.

The problem with Albrighton is he's not the type of winger England seem to want - the same thing with Simpson in defence.

Albrighton's problem atm. is that without being able to bang the crosses in properly/accurately, he offers little going forward - an out of form Albrighton is a full back, not a winger, and we don't need him there atm..  Gray, however, at least offers something going forward, even if not as good going backwards, and right now, that's what we need, and what England want, both from their wingers AND their fullbacks, it seems.

you said needless fouls nothing about what they were there have been many times when Fuchs has tripped someone needlessly even when on a booking himself already

Sorry for not making a distinction between accidental fouls and a deliberate bear-hug - which is want I meant by needless (as opposed to accidental).

But last night, our defending (WITH Maguire at CB) was miles off 'brilliant'. We conceded 4. Ramsey's goal was ridiculous..he was left on his own,

I was wondering where Fuchs was, at the time, since he wasn't at the back post? (Like he should have been!)  Having two Arsenal players undefended at the back post is asking for trouble...  But as I said (just now) in the post-match thread - our defence seemed to fall asleep at the ends of each half...  Still lack of mental fitness/sharpness?
