I'm not knowledgeable enough to take sides on this but it doesn't look great for both parties on some aspects.
O Shea wouldn't be my favourite footballer but calling out the previous manager who they played with was a bit unwarranted. You'd have to question the goalkeeper decision. Surely no player going into an all Ireland final can call the shots on that so to speak.

Just had my mum round for lunch, she's just turned 89 and born in Bohola, near Swinford, county Mayo.
We've watched the last few years near misses and she's is really hoping Mayo can finally win it. The last couple of finals have been heart breaking for her.
She is immensely proud of her heritage and desperate for an all Ireland win before she pops her clogs.
Still thinking about it today.
She has all the Mayo flags and scarves etc hung up in the house when matched are on, but funnily enough I had to order them from America as Ireland have a poor selection of merchandise.
MUST WIN IT NEXT YEAR!
An article that appeared in the Irish national media last Saturday.
Mayo's management for 2015 stepped down after a vote of no confidence from the Mayo squad. After 14 months of silence they gave their own version of events at the weekend.

Playing man utd in the last 16 of the Europe league.

Was in the le coq sportif store in London on Friday.

1-0 to Ireland. Austria beyond terrible but a great win. In with a great chance of qualifying now.

Would be more at home in the 90s for its sound really but just sneaks into the 80s.

Slimmy's winning matches, Slimmy's winning games
Slimmy's bringing Leicester back to winning ways again!
Based on the chorus of a 2012 reggae tinged Gaelic Football song made over here in Ireland. Song was named after the then Donegal manager Jimmy Mcguinness -Now a performance coach at Celtic. Donegal won the all ireland title (Ireland's equivalent of the premiership). Would suit our new Algerian star!

As a Limerick man I can relate to the agony.
Did she get to witness 1950 and/or 1951?

October's Goal of the Month!

Average enough game but great excitement and drama for a finish. This could have been the cruelest loss of all for Mayo had Dublin won.
They could have won it.To their credit they fought back when all seemed lost. Dublin can count themselves lucky.Anyone other than Mayo and they were gone today.
Could we get Claudio over to talk to Mayo?

Up for the match on RTE now. So bad it's good. An irish tradition!

All Ireland final day tomorrow. One of the best days of the Irish sporting year. Over 80,000 expected. Reigning champions and red hot favourites Dublin against perennial bridesmaids Mayo who have lost their last 7 finals and could break a record tomorrow.
Assuming there is no dubs here hopefully Mayo will get over the line tomorrow.
Was 19:51 when i typed this!

Probably suggested already but an Eminem Slim-shady style chant for Slimani might go down well.

Looks like Leicester's title win brought a few lads over

Fair play to Tipp. Had my doubts about them but they were in no way flattered to win by 9 points.

I have a certain amount of sentimental attachment to it, CF, so I'm probably biased.
I was casually acquainted with Chris and Glenn and I saw them perform an impromptu acoustic version at one of my late brother's parties. It was a brilliant evening and one of the last times I saw him alive.
Scrolling through and reading this I thought you were on about Chris Waddle and Glenn Hoddle.
Diamond lights now theres an 80s classic!

All Ireland Hurling final today between Kilkenny and Tipperary at 3.30.
Kilkenny favourites to win. Tipp on their day could beat anyone but a bit flaky when the chips are down.

USMNT beat St Vincent 6-0.
Should Trinidad and Tobago win tonight themselves and the US advance to the next stage in CONCACAF.

Dublin win by 2 points 0-22 to 2-14 (20).
What a marvellous game of football. Semi final always throws up a best game of the year type match. Dublin looked finished at half time with a goalkeeping horror show worthy of Joe Hart but to their credit kept battling and flew in the face of their soft city boys reputation to emerge winners.
A pure coincidence but they played each other in the National Football League (NFL!!) final the same day as the Swansea match back in April and it was the only regret that I had about being over at the King Power as they were being played around the same time. After the league final in Croke Park there was a commemeration event on the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising.
Was the other way round this weekend but got to witness a cracker in Croke Park today.Dublin and Leicester win again. Would be great if there was more Dublin v Kerry/Leicester v Swansea matches on the same weekend!
Playing the luckless mayo who have lost their last 6 finals and now must be favourites to lose number 7 in 3 weeks time.

Gaelic footballs El classico Dublin v Kerry starting at half 3.
Its on sky sports.
Dublins support has a fair few premiership football bandwagon types. No leicester city tops in the crowd yet though!

I'll post up stuff soon but I'd say the 00s may in time prove to be viewed as a very good decade.
I listen to a lot more 00s albums than I do 90s ones which I view as a bit of a disappointment overall.

Where you from brother ?
do you come over for games ?
From Limerick.
Been at a handful of games.8 in total.
I was over at the Swansea home game back in April but I have been in the backroom setup of our inter county under 21 and senior football teams since late 2013 doing minor work so it's been a bit hard to find time to do much else. I was thinking in March 2015 that I was going to miss out on a premier league game when we were bottom and looking like relegation certs.
Our season is over for the last 5 weeks so another trip I'm hoping to make before the end of this year.
Cracking game in Thurles tonight. Kilkenny are some team to get the job done. Waterford didnt play as well as last week but the miss at the end was heartbreaking for them. Tomorrows game will hopefully be good too.

Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages
