We're off to Puerto Pollensa in Mallorca next week for a week with my husband's parents, brother, sister and their partners.

Very much looking forward to it especially as it might be the last holiday all together as a family for his parents. Not looking forward to the flight on a prop plane from Almería to Palma though

I feel abit shameful telling you about holidays, as it's like Daka telling Vardy how to score!!!😁 but we went there years ago and its gorgeously beautiful!!!

    Have a great time

I can't fathom any of these marching protests. Total waste of time and cost to the state.

    I'll informed and uneducated

    Easily led.

Never see these "marches and protests" in the depth of Winter.

Pity they listen to Uncle Tommy ( who ironically has a Sikh as one of his inner circle but is quick to run to Southampton to  have his say to Daves mob) rather than the father...

Henry Nowak's father said: "We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred, or tension."

Is it going to stop you making generalizations about other groups or are you going to stick with Dave on that one?

Looks like Dave and his beer swilling flag waving Reform boys to me unless you see different with your rose tinted glasses?

  5. Gurudwara are quick to issue statements  and condemning  this horrible attack.

Hopefully  it stops Dave and his boys chucking bins and bricks at each other if the weather is good.

The murderer wasn't put in handcuffs at any point when being taken to the police station despite what became clearly evident. Once there, he was even allowed into the kitchen to choose his food. No idea if this is routine practice for all. Henry's Father's statement references the 'unbearable' contrast with the treatment given to his son. This has to be the catalyst for change.

The investigation, including IOPC, report has to determine if a member of the public is being presumed guilty if they have been accused of racism. Kemi is right. Enough of this.

    No its not.

Looking at the video the male Cop is more bothered about getting cuffs on the poor lad and asking if the killer is okay and got any injuries rather than the other way around.

Awful policing...no doubt "lessons will be learnt" statement from the constabulary involved...

Hard to not wonder what the publics and this forums reaction would be to this if the roles were reversed tbh. Hard to believe it wouldn't have had anything to do with race then.

Has anyone reacted in a way you would not have expected them to in this horrendous story?

The sikh community have come out straight away and made statements and most posters on here have been equally disgusted by the murderer and the Police.

  8. When Cops handcuff someone it is to maintain control, prevent escape, and protect em from harm or violence.

This kid was on the floor ffs.

Okay it might not have been apparent ASAP to the Cops he was stabbed but it would have taken a cursory look by them to see he was AND THEN the main action should have been life preservation as well has having the suspect in check.

The more i think about this its utterly disgraceful and sad

  9. Horrible video of the poor lad.

I always try and stick up for the Cops as an ex Special but feck sake that was disgraceful.

At the least they should be investigated and retrained if not suspended.

Hopefully they have given themselves up to the IPC.

As a punjabi guy, like stan has said hope this doesnt trigger any backlash to wards sikhs as on the whole they are a massive positive to society and not often anything like this happens, although the murderer seems to be hiding behind this rather than the root cause that he was a ****.

It's what you do when you see a mate in distress, especially when you need that mate to recover in time for the World Cup in a couple of weeks.

As far as the game is concerned, would have been interesting to see Arteta do what Maresca did with Chelsea in the Club World final and continue pressing for a second (and indeed, third) goal.

Instead, he sought to park the bus and ended up paying the price.

Sadly, though, gooners still look best bets to win the PL next season.. 😟

Oh sorry for stating the obvious then..
