It doesnt say small.
If he was looking for something small like a 6 week layoff, then i dont see the point.
It was a hamstring injury. Did it out on the pitch training.

I liked how you qualified Churchill, nice and helpfully for those who don't know who he is!
Got to clarify for all these young people who haven't been around for two world wars

"We are ordinary"
I bet this person has a really average, mundane job, a boring partner and never likes to challenge themselves. Imagine if leaders like Churchill (not the dog) had this attitude. Ah nevermind, we weren't meant to win this war anyway.

Those saying the atmosphere was better without UFS, are you seriously ****ing sure after tonight?
Great atmosphere. Means you can play Sudoku on your phone without being disturbed while backing the lads.

It would explain the recent radio silence on Antonio. The TalkSport headline over the weekend seemed to suggest that a deal with Antonio was getting closer, but when you read the article itself it was clear they didn't have any inside info at all—they were just assuming that Carranza's departure meant that Antonio would probably join. It wouldn't surprise me if he's no longer training with us and it just hasn't been reported yet.
Correct.

Who said he failed a medical here?
I would of thought with his recent horrific injury he would have had a provisional medical before he started training with us. Especially if he failed a medical at Brentford, which i was told he didnt
A person who is part of the wider medical setup at the club.
The injury at Brentford was a different one to the one suffered with us. I don't have meticulous detail but I can only imagine that both injuries are a result of a weaker body post his crash (added on top to an ageing body too).

Support the lads through the good times and the bad...but not when it's too cold, then we stay at home.

It was announced the 9th October he was training with Brentford, the following week they announced they wouldn’t be offering him a deal. It Certainly wasn’t 6 months
He failed a medical there. He trained with us and also failed a medical (hence no news so far as he has now left). Not surprising really after his injuries and with his age.

It feels like the whole corner is designed to look like it's UFS's corner so surely you can understand why fans think that any noise coming from that corner is coming from UFS members.
I don't particularly see the need to brand yourself as being part of a group that has a name and structure. I've said on here before that I don't think it really adds much outside of the Tifos. The whole 'ultra' scene has never been my cup of tea but I don't want to judge other people's tastes. My take on it would be that if you're in the singing section, just get on with it and sing.
It feels like there's a divide between UFS members and regular supporters in the singing/standing section and it isn't contributing to a good atmosphere.
But, ultimately, I think atmosphere is 95% dependant on what is happening on the pitch. Most of the time we get slated for "only" being 20 members (not true by the way but we are sub 100). The singing section is more than 1,000. So yes, when UFS get told we "run" the section we like to clarify we don't. Most of the time yes, we do initiate chants to avoid 80 odd minutes of silence, this is our aim. However, when other chants get started in the section (which is extremely welcome) we join in.
There is no divide between the group and the rest of the section. The divide is between a fair few around the section and the whole section. And most of the wrong behaviour comes from outside of the section. It gets ignored for the most part but when it gets confrontational, it can no longer be fully ignored.
It must be said that threats and violence is not always targeted at UFS or the section, plenty of examples, particularly away, where other individuals have been targeted. Anyone who comes into the ground with any intention of physically abusing fellow fans should not be welcome. We all have our opinions, views and disagreements but there has to be a way to handle those in a better way.

As a group we know we are a target. If someone is pissed off with the section or a chant being started they aren't going to walk up to a random person and kick off. They will see a big group and target them (even if not the culprit). By being in a group it is much easier to be targeted.
Personally think we have handled most situations well recently (yesterday's event is not the only time abuse is hurled at us). Fully aware we are not everyone's cup of tea but we do what we do and that won't change. Join in or just ignore us. Both are good. Getting physical and constantly abusing the group is pretty low life and desperate.
On many occasions we have stated that we will talk and have chats to people. That guy yesterday could have come up and had a normal chat raising his points and we could have discussed (preferably at HT and not in the middle of the game though). Worst case we disagree and carry on as normal.

It was exactly this. The guy stormed up the steps towards the UFS section wanting a fight. A couple of guys had a pop back, the big UFS flag got swung at him and His Majesty's constabulary weighed in and dragged them all away.
Was the walk out planned or a response to the arrests?
It definitely wasn't planned. And not even this single incident was the driver but it has happened a few times now over the past couple of years and the club do nothing to even try and support the group for it. We have seen group members get bans for the pettiest of things (some still banned currently), yet physical abuse to our members gets ignored over and over.
It was a really tough decision and there was very little time to make it but we decided enough was enough. Very unfortunate that we were leading 2-1 and needed the support second half but sometimes standing your ground, as a group/unit, for something takes precedence. Additionally with the boycott coming up at the next fixture it makes it even more difficult.
The drum bit was even more frustrating because we literally went through the skin on the main drum during the first half so the once that was aimed at was the backup!

Im already excited for the next manager out thread. At this point the positive of sacking him is seeing people say the next manager is awful as well.
Nothing to do with the awful bland squad with no personality to go with their limited ability
As much as it isn't all the managers fault, I do believe Marti isn't the one for us. This squad isn't great but it is more than capable of being in the playoffs or even challenging for promotion. However, we aren't playing anywhere near our potential at the moment and a lot of that is down to the manager.
If we can recruit well and find someone who can get the best out of these players, we can still have a half decent season.

The club put a social media post out minutes after a joint supporter group statement. Hmmm...I can't quite connect the dots...
There is a reason not every supporter group is on it.

Quoting myself is sad but I need to put the euromillions on tomorrow.. Wrexham is Category A.. what an absolute joke
I thought the same, Tuesday night against Wrexham. Category A! Club created these low categories but are fleecing the fans by doing mostly category A games.

Neither of those owners are anywhere near as wealthy as ours:
Ryan Reynolds net worth: 350 million dollars - he would have to spend every penny he had just to buy us
Tom Wagner net worth: 1.34 billion pounds yes wealthy
Top net worth - 3.5 billion dollars almost twice Wagner
So yes they have pumped monet into the clubs they own but don't have the ability to fund a prem club the sane way KP have done in the past
It's not always about how much you have but more importantly what you do with it. I think a lot of fans would get on board with a less wealthy owner who has a clear plan/strategy

Had family go on the ground tour yesterday. They asked the question and was told it wasn't in and cant see any difference in seats?
The tour staff can say a lot of stuff that isn't true and as others have said, it's difficult to make out the safe standing bars from a distance

You don't have to decide, that's what calendars are for, they tell you!

These fixtures haven't sold well for a very long time.
The club should look at them as a loss leader. Take a financial hit to have it sold out - push the fanzone, make it a community day, possible double header with the Women's team, really use it as an opportunity to get access for the game out of there. They won't though - either they don't want to push it or the powers that be above their heads simply don't want to get something going.
A huge opportunity for some positivity in the fanbase for what will be less than a drop in the ocean financially. No reason it couldn't be free for STH's, free for U18s and then £5 for anyone else.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated. Even when the mood around the club is this low, people still turned out in numbers and gave generously.
Without this, today would have been completely depressing (other than Cov continuing their decline!).
