Doesn’t mean they are all spoilt brats though. Seems more like a sweeping generalisation.

Does sound a bit like a sweeping statement.

I went to the training ground earlier this year to do some work with U21's and they were all absolutely lovely and very respectful. obviously i only saw a snippet, but I remember coming away thinking what a nice group.

Why does he think the academy players are spoilt brats?

You only have to look at the facilities and how much they are mothered.

I know its the same at most clubs, but we're on another level. They essentially live at a 5* luxury resort.

  3. Life would be so much less stressful if I was this positive and naive.

We're down - nothing short of a miracle keeps us up and even then, it would be a travesty for whoever else went down in our place.

Its done - the clubs done.

  4. I dont even care enough to be ashamed.

    Its just a total disconnect.

If it wasn't for browsing this forum, I wouldnt even know our remaining fixtures.

Club can fold tomorrow for all i care.

  5. Lost a bit of interest in football as a whole before I even get started on the subject of Leicester City.

Considering ive followed them across Europe, I think ive reached the point where I wouldnt give a sh1t if the club folded tomorrow.

Its a combination of having kids now, football changing for the worse in general and the fact our club has been decimated into an embarrassment.

  6. I would genuinely feel sorry for the likes of Portsmouth or Oxford if we managed to stay up at one of theirs expense.

Especially Oxford, a relatively small club punching above expectations and then theres us....and our wage bill...

Yes. The club wasn't anything near as toxic as it is now and we had more discernible quality across the pitch.

We did end up 'pissing the league' but I recall being in that away end at Plymouth when a few were calling for Enzo's head and there was some panic that we might end up blowing the autos.

We probably would have bottled it if it wasnt for that team talk the players had without Enzo present.

Enzo did great, but his football was horrific to watch even though we were winning and we did come close to bottling the whole thing.

Monga is hardly looking effective when he comes on either. Did nothing against tiring Preston defenders yesterday.

I think we are slowly ruining Monga.

I completely agree, cant remember the last time ive watched him and thought he has looked at changing a game..

But surely he needs to go back to the youth setup,  or should have gone on loan or something..

I just cant see how sitting on the bench every week is doing him any benefit and he's hardly doing much to push for a starting position.

Just feels like he is stagnating.

Ah-you’re taking the fact that a player missed a penalty as evidence that the entire team is mentally relegated already? So presumably if the keeper had dived the other way and we’d won the game, that would have been evidence that the team was mentally still up for it? And the fact that we kept a clean sheet and dominated a game for 90mins for the first time this season means nothing—it’s all about the penalty?

More so the other 89+ minutes where we couldnt break down a pretty woeful opposition who offered basically nothing in return.
