He was thrust into a bad situation after Cifuentes was sacked, but that Southampton game was the first time I actually believed we were going to get relegated. His game management in that was so poor and that result really knocked what little fight the squad had left right out of them.

Ridiculous to think we lost only 3 more games and conceded only 2 more goals than Hull. They are going to need some major investment just to not break Derby's record low PL points tally.
