I agree for the most part, but: I think we should still get an experienced CB. With Ricca and Kurucay we lost our defensive leaders of last season and I don't think Pletinckx and/or Ominami are capable of filling that role. Both are decent defenders but no leaders. Our midfield looks good, but I wouldn't mind an extra creative CAM. Since Xavier Mercier's departure we really lack creativity. Maziz was supposed to fill that role, but he's been a dissapointment and I don't believe he can turn things around this season. Wouldn't mind to see him leave to be honest. We should also get another striker, preferably a targetman in my opinion. I'm hearing a lot of good things about new signing Traore, but he's still only 18. I love the fact that we extended the loan deal of Mijatovic, but he's only 19. Scoring was our biggest problem last season an it would be unfair and unhealty to put all our trust to fix that problem on those 2 kids. We still got Ikwuemesi, but we all know he's not a goal scorer. We've mostly signed very young players so far, which I don't mind. The Belgian league is known for developing young players, so we at OHL should embrace that role. We've done really good with young players like Banzuzi, Schingtienne and Mandela Keita just to name a few. But I also believe that those young players need some experienced players to lead and guide them. So, in my ideal world we would still sign an experienced CB to lead our defense, a creative CAM, a LW/RW and a striker. I realize that this will not happen, so I'll settle for the CB and the striker.

Starsport TV will be our shirtsponsor for the next 3 seasons. Since January 2025 it's illegal to have a gambling/betting company as your shirt sponsor, but those companies and the clubs have found a way around that. They just create a foundation or a secondary company which hasn't technically anything to do with betting or gambling and put that on the shirt. Just put some word like foundation, sport, news and/or TV in front of it and you're good. Pretty disappointed in our club, but that's how things work in Belgium... Some more examples:

We also have a new assistent-manager. Rudi Cossey joins our club from Charleroi. Cossey is a household name in Belgium as he worked for clubs like Antwerp, Club Brugge, Gent and Genk. He was also our manager in the 2007-2008 season. He brings in the necessary experience we need in our coaching staff. In my opinion he's one of the best assistent-managers in Belgium.

Agreed! Still young (37) and inexperienced, but did a good job at Anderlecht in my opinion. Will be important to sign a good, experienced assistent-manager to help him. Always have to wait and see with a new manager, but I definitely prefer him over another dodgy Welshman...

Apparently KP wanted us to sign yet another foreign manager, but our board convinced them to go for a Belgian manager.

They were a big part of the gambling and match-fixing scandal in 2006. After that they dropped down to the lower leagues and merged with some neighboring clubs and changed their name, only to change it back to RAAL La Louvière in 2017. Went from the Belgian 5th division to now getting promoted to the 1st division in only 8 seasons. The club is now led by former players like Enzo Scifo, Silvio Proto and Nicolas Frutos. Non of the people involved with the match-fixing scandal are involved with the "new" club, so no real controversy.
