It's refreshing to see a striker actually have a reason to fall over

The last 2 years including first 30 min of this game already feel like we are playing with 10 most of the time

Ayew has some kind of condition where his body goes limp when it makes contact with the ball.

Doesn't seem like a good thing for a professional footballer to have, but what do I know.

Watching us play is like watching AI if the prompt were "comically bad football team"

he got the ball and it looked like his controller had disconnected and it was just the momentum / inertia of his previous movement off the ball that was carrying him forward.

Replace "Vardy" with "Rudkin" and I'd agree with you.

What should have been done is resetting with Vardy as the thread that strings old to new. Just a little of sprinkle of Vardy on the young players we have or will be signing (hopefully) for a year or two - that's priceless. And it took a herculean effort and levels of ineptitude for the club to **** that up.

The club's greatest player and greatest era are ending with relegation, PSR troubles - past and future, pending points deduction, dysfunctional board and management, and an awful squad that seems more likely to be relegated next year than promoted. It's really crazy when you think about it.

Last game I would’ve said the positive was at least RVN saw how bad ward is and we won’t have to see him play again.

it's not entitled to think we're better than 3 other teams in the league - 2 of which are Ipswich and Southampton

it's not entitled to think the worst GK in PL history, who relegated us, shouldn't be in the squade, let alone PLAYING, in 2024 for a new manager

let's pick the best players we have for games first, then see where the chips fall?  just a thought - I'd be more than happy with that

we aren't good enough for top 4/6. def good enough to be better than 3 other clubs, two of which are Ipswich and Southampton.  this talking point is absolutely stupid. I mean - we literally are, right now, even AFTER this game - better than 3 other clubs in the division. 

RvN was always a bad appointment. We needed a manager, not a name.

I don't think enough was made of Ward still being in the team (let alone squad) the last 2 seasons. How he's still the #2 after the relegation season is by far the most damning indictment on the running of the club. It's actually incredible.

If this game is the last time Ward is on a team sheet, it'll be worth it.  But he'll probably be starting next week.

He’s saying that the original buyer would need to pickup at brentford if we tried this - and they aren’t going.

Hi all - you may remember me as the OP of this thread.  I'm in London from the US for the game.  A very helpful and great poster here responded to my initial post.  He arranged for his friend to buy tix for me, then sent them to my hotel.  I just arrived tonight - and the envelope that is waiting for me that he sent royal mail tracked, etc - was empty and taped shut.  Somebody opened the envelope and took the tix.  I'm gutted.  My 5 year old is crying.  I want to as well.

If there is any chance that somebody has a lead on up to 4 tix for the game, please please let me know.  I know it may not be appropriate, but I'm happy to pay above face value at this point.  Looking for 2 (me and son) or 4 (whole family) tix.  Thanks in advance.  🦊

I've never heard a co comm absolutely drag a team and setup so early and often, that was funny.

Absolutely no reason we shouldn't have gotten a result there.  That first goal was so awful to give up.
