He ‘failed’ an mri scan that proved him to be overage for a youth tournement for Nigeria, he’s definitely older than 28

Putting aside the litany of literature about the MRI scan (scam) as an age determinant, Wilf ‘passed’ the scan during the qualifiers and ‘failed’ it for the tournament proper, all within a year. Accordingly, if you believe the scan to be reliable he would’ve been at worst a few months older than listed.

Haven't seen enough of the younger players yet to say for certain whether they're better than this lot - I suspect it is the case. I think at least 3 of those move on though.

We need to sign a striker.

    This!

Kelechi Iheanacho scores first goals for Sevilla since Leicester City move
Iheanacho chose not to renew his contract after the Championship-winning 2023/24 season, bringing the curtain down on six years at Leicester.

After interest from several clubs, the Nigeria international swapped England for Spain to join Sevilla.

But despite being handed the number nine shirt, Iheanacho has failed to set the world alight and some reports even claimed that the La Liga side were pondering selling him in January.

However, Iheanacho showed fans what he is capable of by scoring two goals in their Copa del Rey victory against Las Rozas.

It was the 28-year-old’s fourth start of the season but the first where he had played a full 90 minutes.

I don’t agree, he was relatively average here and he played for 3 other English clubs that either had a worse or same experience. More of a testament to the Atalanta system unlocking what was there, I think if we had signed him permanently he’d have never hit the heights he’s done there.

He definitely wasn’t “average” here. A tad inconsistent, sure, but still one of our best players in his season here.  And he was the standout player at Fulham prior to that (handing us our arse at the KP). Personally would have kept him over some of the absolute dross we retained/signed.

Kasper had a pretty good game versus Haaland and Man City in his Celtic debut last night in North Carolina. He came off at half-time with Celtics leading 3-1 (eventually won 4-3).

I've forgotten what we were so upset about in the last couple of weeks. Everything just seems good!

WINNING cures (or covers up) a lot of ails…lol
But frankly, winning should be the ultimate communal goal.

We have a responsibility to win this match for Brum and Plymouth's sake. Don't want Blackburn to have an easy pass like Everton had last match of the season last year.

We have enough motivation to win it for ourselves - 100 points and first Championship team to win 32 games.
