Mentioned it before, but I know it won’t happen. Monga and Evans need to be involved. Not starting per se, but after bobby Reid gives it away for the 14th time after 50 mins, what else is there?

I’m all for Jeremy monga or Jake Evans taking that place on the bench. This is why we loose are best talent, because it’s never trusted. In a game we are expected to loose, why not give those 2 a cameo if the injury’s are as bad as reported. look at it from the players coming through point of view, why hang around if you going to play the likes of BDR who has been nothing short of criminal so far.

Out of these 3 it’s only stolarczyk. Who’s a decent keeper that’s not been given enough of a chance earlier on, but would be a solid champ keeper off what we have seen. the only one from those 3 that can still make it to a high level is johansson and he came on free from villa at 19 so not home grown. like bosworth, they have been at the club since very young and I can’t see them pushing on. GKs obviously develop slower, but both the keepers have had a lot of bread and butter saves going in at u21 level. the only one who seems to be rated that’s coming up is marsden and you could argue he’s technically not ours as he joined at 14

I’ve watched keepers at this level for a while, they won’t make the grade unfortunately. Young keepers coming though has always been an issue. Last one of note being Oliver bosworth. Touted as the next best thing, academy player of the season twice, England u20,s and now can’t get a game in tier 9.

Monga should be replacing bobby Reid if anyone had a clue what they were doing. Reid has offered absolutely nothing in the appearances he’s made, no doubt he’s on an enormous salary too. Reid will not be around in 18 months or sooner if cooper goes. Makes no sense not to have him on the bench if he’s showing this sort of level at his age in u21 we clearly need some improvement in the GK area in the youth. French and Basour are both very poor. I like Cartwright, proper throw back centre mid, loves a challenge and has a good passing range

Monga could certainly handle some mins in the first team, he will be off in June if we don’t
