Left over numbers that’s all. As in, a full set ordered but there are (currently) some spare spaces in there.

I’ve absolutely no idea why it’s the order it is, I know senior players had a preference (kasper, vardy, old Wes) as for the rest I dunno.

Changing room

Yes all ‘underground’ but it’s a maze and so easy to get lost during construction. Really complex build, ridiculously complex. The owners office is spectacular. The club have had to hire loads of new staff to deal with the size and scale, plus the mental perception for players.

There are fortnightly drone flights over the TG, loads of data. It’s just a choice not to share it. The place is incredible. I think I mentioned before those who worked on both LFC and LCFC (same architect too) have a clear favourite. The ft and ac have separate Rec rooms, both amazing. But there is so much more being t to he scenes though with psychologists etc, big changes coming. It’s the largest facility in the world and second most expensive until PSG complete their new one.

NDA was signed by all parties to not post images onto social media. They want to provide their own photos as part of a ‘grand opening’ no longer with visitors due to pandemic. Club has taken plenty of their own videos and photos but due to delays they didn’t want to issue them due to a false hope of completion because it’s out of everyone’s control. nearly there. First team due early December to start! There will be a large update of photos and all sorts in a few weeks.

Pool does look incredible.

There will be a water feature. Eight fountains with foxes, done at a later date though.

Because the project completes on the 20th, club already has started moving in. Turf academy is completed and they’ve moved in, prior to the rest staggering completion over the next two and a half weeks. Last plan was for first team to start training on 29th, but that may have changed.

Two and a half weeks lads, it’ll be fine.

General consensus from parties involved in both projects is that this place makes lfc training ground look average.

Four weeks to be precise until it’s completed.
