Rudkin and his family disappointed with the lack of Euro City breaks this season have arranged a nice holiday in Thailand and Singapore (City's stupid pre season tour) ahead of next seasons less attractive trips to Ipswich/Rotherham. However he needs a fat bonus to reflect his great achievement of securing relegation for both the Mens and Development squads in the same season.

Whilst Top has done his best with so called professional advice (Rudkin and his fellow board members) I doubt his wise father who created a world brand would have made similar mistakes in trusting these charlatans.

For me conceding the 2 later goals against Brentford in the first game when coasting was such a disappointment it set the tone for what was to follow.

No manager, no team, no money but a v nice training ground. Far worse off than when we were last relegated. - Prediction mid table obscurity with Watford and Norwich.
-
Tielemans and Soumare again, why why why??? It doesn't work, they hardly do any work - stuff of nightmares. At least we won't see this combination and the idiot who selects it again.

"The fault lies with none of the four men who have taken charge of the club this season but, instead with the board" - Today's Times
"They have been sleepwalking into catastrophe...For a club, not so long ago, was lauded for its impressive business model to find itself in this situation is remarkable...waited too long for decisive action. Rodgers sacking was reactionary and there was no plan in placer a replacement. Instead they gambled on caretaker coaches".

It is unfortunate LCFC does not have shareholders (outside of the 5 family members) who can hold senior management to account for failure. Instead failure is ignored/rewarded by those who are culpable .

"The tour of Shame".Another opportunity to be battered by ex PL rivals Spurs and Liverpool on Tops own doorstep! Jon Rudkin will be happy, a nice holiday for him and his family having missed out on European city breaks this season. Only problem Jon is that we are a full month away from transfer deadline day, the only days of the year your recruitment team get off its arse. Given the summer exodus will we have enough first team players to fulfil the fixtures?
-
He’s been practising his new role at Arsenal for weeks - sitting on the bench and doing nothing!

Cunning foxes take the money and run.
-
A motto born from the great escape season but now clearly inappropriate for the group presently wearing the shirt. Any ideas for a more appropriate motto?
-
Rudkin Choice - Chris Wilder - completely average has had limited success with Sheffield United, available and cheap would accept 2 year deal. /Would take spotlight off Rudkin and cover for any average to crap signning.s from him and his recruitment team

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Roll on 23/24

More games for the same money on next year’s season ticket.
However Championship games at best fall within category C (On the categorisation we’ve been used to) most D and E. I doubt there will be any more expensive season tickets within the division and of course the resale platform will collapse. I’m seriously considering my options next season.
-
The scrapping of the fox membership scheme as there will be no problem getting tickets, return of cheap bums on seat tickets for the many” less attractive” games (which will piss off season ticket holders) and the Christmas pressie special - the half season , season ticket.

Lose and our suffering is over - relegation virtually inevitable but at least we can come to terms with it.. Win we still have some hope. Alas I predict a draw, met by silence at the final whistle. Further misery for another week.
-
Rudkin 80% Whelan & Top 10% each for being complicit in and relying on his incompetent advice/performance. Everything under his control over the last 2 seasons has been a disaster.
-
The shirt like the players, looks good but won’t last long and easily ripped apart.

Wilder’s short term contract with Watford has come to an end …..it wouldn’t surprise me if he turns up at city following relegation. A known Championship battler with promotion success at Sheffield United and affordable.
I’m not supporting Wilder, simply he will be attractive to Jon ‘The Teflon” Ruskin (nothing ever sticks} can get him in quick, cheaply and with a break clause in his short 2 year contract. Quick is important as incompetent Jon needs someone to front up quickly to deflect from his/city’s lack of ability/activity in the transfer market..

His biggest failing has been his "blind" loyalty to Jon Rudkin who has proved to be over-promoted and out of his depth with our transfer dealings, player contracts and failings throughout the football club at all levels.
Rudkin has used OUR football club as a vehicle for his own egotistical ambitions....yet Top has failed to see or question this....and we are now seeing the results
Very true. As 'Director of Football' he is also 'Head of Performance'. Everything which falls under his influence (and responsibility) over the last two seasons have been a disaster-
Recruitment and contracts
Management and transition
Medical - Keeping players fit to play
and above all performance with both the mens team and the development squad (under 18's) to be relegated in the same season. If he has any moral compass (which I doubt) he would resign.

There will be the usual blood letting of hard working support and backroom staff no doubt to fund salary increase and performance!!! bonuses for Whelan, Rudkin et al.
-
With relegation virtually guaranteed the club seriously needs to look at Season ticket pricing before sale opening on the 26th.
Given the inevitable fire sale of players who believe (in many cases wrongly) they are talented enough to play at a higher level and the 'walkouts' of players whose contracts have been allowed to run down, it's time to give something back to the fans who have endured the last two seasons. Unless there is a 10% price drop across the board we are likely to be charging the highest Season ticket prices in the Championship for let's face it, matches which wouldn't fall even within category C matches on the present charging matrix.
Following relegation there will be the usual financial blood letting with many of the hard working backroom and support staff facing redundancy. May I suggest saving a few jobs by replacing our Director of Football/Head of Performance with a inexpensive but arguably more effective Garden Gnome.

Where did it all go wrong?

On reflection it probably all went wrong ironically at the home match with West Ham . A helicopter crashed and we lost a leader, Vichai, who had the team and fans at heart and was not shy at making tough decisions rathe rather then relying on bollocks from Rudkin and Whelan.
