  1. If it ain’t about the atmosphere, the ultras, the scarves waving, the flags waving, people leaving early, not clapping, the music, the half time pints, the toilet queues, standing on seats, the pie quality….. we have a new debate? Why do people go in so early?
  2. Rejected as per!! I’ve only won two ballots in years, a tour of seagrave I couldn’t attend and the photo opportunity that they sent no details about.. If they get promoted can he change the style of play because I can’t stand the moaning any longer? i read this comment yesterday that people want to be entertained when they pay money, so he would rather watch an entertaining loss than a possessive boring 1-0 win.. very bizarre comment
  3. We actually agree on something It’s cringe all these people end up on their backs waiting for a photo.. especially coming from the Newcastle and Leeds fans who claim they’re the uks best as they support their team instead of filming (until they want their limbs pictures)
  4. I ain’t into all the “if you don’t like it don’t go” either.. Would the vast majority in here prefer a much better atmosphere? Yes of course but it won’t be like that regardless of the changes that may happen. But everyone has the right to go and follow their team. RE the flags again, I’ve not seen any negatives regarding the honesty flags that get dished out in every stand? Would you as you say throw it over the wall if if it was obstructing your view in front of you, same thing isn’t it? The club is maybe just doing it for their social media platform, or maybe when the ground is all waving flags it actually looks a half decent spectacle.. No I would never sit next to the away fans and hence if I go away it’s always the middle for me. I’ve got no interest in joining in fans which have more time flashing the vs than watching the game.. some Leicester fans may laugh at the section, may criticise the drum, dislike some of the newer chants but somehow they fail to see that other clubs are doing it and are doing it better..
  5. So basically you have quoted myself and many others of your disgust of the stadium atmosphere, seems funny that you will take your time to read the atmosphere topic then but each to their own.. I assume you don’t sit near the section judging all the negatives you throw towards it so I don’t fully understand why your so against any new ideas that people suggest. It will not directly affect you or your match day experience if flags are waving or any sort of platform is used (if it happens).. Course I can compare the east and the west, minus one block next to the away fans they all just sit there with the clappers so don’t pretend the east makes it a fortress. Glad you like the atmosphere in the east anyways, Willy puller signs and baiting the away fans must make it an amazing day.. maybe I need to relocate, them tifos and flags waving for a couple of minutes do my head in..
  6. I think that’s part of the reason why you have never seen any highly excitable supporter moments.. sat there for Roma semi final and thought I was in a church
  7. Sadly it isn’t. So many comments on here saying that from the family section you could only see a few scarves waving, a few flags etc. it would be a whole different story if the whole section joined in (especially as they’ve lengthened the chants so it’s not just one and then another).. I don’t believe that the front can’t be heard from the back.. I ain’t sure the answer as to why it’s so quiet up top but does baffle me as to why some people are against any noise or atmosphere, yet still persist to go in the ‘singing section’..
  8. I can’t think of anything worse than sitting in the east and west in silence, can’t believe so many enjoy that..
  9. I’ve had this suggested to me by a member on here linked to ufs and I think it’s a great idea. The atmosphere needs a major revamp and this is the next step.. whether or not it will be accepted is another story? More like minded fans must join the section as the front try so hard and fair play to them, but the middle is where is stops and I was in ear shot of some guys moaning that they were waving flags and they couldn’t see a Leeds attack.. this is the downfall, flags ain’t being waved for 90 mins but at times we need more vocal, scarves waving and flags going, people bouncing on your feet! What’s wrong with making it a spectacle? Some people won’t like it, others might not but will get used to it but times move on….
  10. Have you read the last 150 pages?
  11. Been sung many times this season in the section, Callum Doyle at the back, Jamie vardy in attack..
  12. We’re in a league without var and it’s still flat.. some of the comments that follow that passage are laughable. Becky has hit her article spot on but replies are there are too many expletives in which make it bad for children. I went through the songs in my head and apart from the embarrassing Harry Souttar one and vardy which contains shit, I don’t think the others are that offensive. we hate forest, we hate Derby just thought of while typing
  13. I don’t think many will stop before the game, I should imagine they will get out their cars and walk straight in. You may be lucky but would stand far more chance after the game if you wait 90 mins or so..
  14. I should have been a bit more clearer in what I meant by this. I didn’t mean bring back the old chants of former club and players.. what I meant was if for example a player chant, instead of using the most modern chart songs, maybe using a song they people know. some of the older generation will know dusty Springfield crazy but it’s true but might not be familiar with kylie minogue padam padam (first song that came into my head) Im probably clutching at straws and need to realise there is more chance of me landing on the moon than finding out the answer as to why people just don’t want to join in.. but would rather read suggestions/ideas than finger point..
  15. Before anyone says, yes it has been sung round the premier as all current chants but simple and effective Herman’s hermits something good.. Woke up this morning feeling fine, Got Leicester city on my mind, Enzos playing the way that Leicester should Something tells me I’m into something good
  16. Im in the section but surprised that only a few manage to sing it..
  17. Do people think if we stripped back songs to the older songs of the past it would gain more of an airing? Crazy but it’s true is an absolute banger of a Leicester chant but I’m surprised at why so many fans young and old don’t sing along to it.. (I may have answered my own question) is it because it ain’t liked? People don’t know the words or the most common thing of this topic because people just simply don’t want too? Just curious
  18. Incredible effort was hoping to make this but kind of done me a favour, can now save the pennies
  19. Unfortunately not and never will under the current circumstances.. when it’s silent yesterday we have loads of player chants, a few club chants and of all that could be started.. duh duh duh L..C..F..C It would be interesting to hear peoples most disliked chant because that for me at the moment goes to the top of my list..
  20. I think it all depends where you were standing, upper tier blocks sounded ok at times. I was stood near the ufs lads and myself and the bloke next to me who said he had a few to many beers tried to carry it on into our block, but the outer and the majority of half way down to the front the silence was deafening. did have a glance over to the fans nearer the segregation and it clearly goes to show if anyone believes the singing section of the kp needs to be moved next the away fans and think it’ll work lives in cloud cuckoo land.. Middlesbrough have created their own section but what happened yesterday was they could have been anywhere in the stadium and got their result. The main difference is, they sang as a stand (once the goal went in admittedly they were louder) but on 85 mins they didn’t act as if the fire alarm had sounded, they stayed until the end, sang with passion and clapped the team.. KP could take a few tips from that actually.. When was the last time any home stadium complemented our away support because week after week it gets slagged off. Numbers were great yesterday but if we sound bad then it’s irrelevant how many we take.. 3800 at Sheffield Wednesday should tickets be sold won’t matter one bit
  21. Them 2 for me.. safe standing rails and expand the section either sk1 to G1 or sk1 to 2.. it would be all one section and not another one. That way if you decided you didn’t want to stand then you could relocate. The groups in here that are in communication with the club would be the best bet, but timing will be an issue. Like someone said earlier probably the expansion is holding this back.
  22. Ipswich to buy will probably be first week of January I should imagine..
  23. Well if they’re keen to do a questionnaire on the section which they did last year then they could of either included the question of expanding or maybe someone within the know (ie one of the groups) can put it forward. One single block where likeminded fans who want to create an atmosphere ain’t working currently as the majority have their st there which leaves a handful of tickets. It’s worth an ask aint it as everyone is always wanting the match day experience to improve
  24. I’ve said something similar before, why can’t the club expand the singing section into sk2 to help them feel involved.. it’s ok saying they probably wont contribute anyways but that is opinion.. seems strange because if I can’t get in the section as it’s been said it’s the fastest block of the ground to sell out first I feel like a stroppy teenager who has to just sit there. I don’t feel a part of it so how do you know sk2 don’t feel the same now?
  25. From kick off I thought the section sounded pretty decent, ufs lads were in fine voice and from where I was 7 rows behind them everyone was making an effort. After their goal it seemed to fade ever so slightly but still pretty decent to be fair.. fair play to near the drum there’s a curly haired lad who has his back to the game most of the time trying to drum up support from the crowd.. Also air more of the songs pleeaaaasseeeee.. Under the lights Were on the way or any players.. winks is getting there and people are cottoning on.. Other then that not bad..
