Yes but results and performances would prove them to be very wrong

True .... wins are the only thing that counts ... draws get us nowhere... and we are fast becoming the draw specialists -

That's the fear .... points deduction and closer to a relegation... I don't see the quality or fight in the team to drag us out of a mess -
Stolarcryk to stay but only has 2nd choice keeper, Ricardo as much as he is a good player his persistent injuries outweigh keeping him .... the rest .... please close the door on your way out

Can someone remind me who is out of contract next summer
-
We have a good few players who have played in the Premier league ... but very very few who are Premier league players .... and that's the difference
-
Very much so ... he has to have a full season and hopefully some additions in the next window... its difficult near impossible to get a tune out of the deadwood and players who are near the exit door
-
Believe me having watched city for 50+ years ... we are seasons away from seeing any real consistent improvement... firstly we need players with passion, a team to play on the front foot with intensity... some nastiness in the team .... look at the current squads body language... there is none ...

Oh Mr Rudkin ....you've not mentioned yoursef

If it happens it may wake some people up to the reality of the situation .... Top, the board and the fans

There's a lot goes on we will never know about ... but it does make a difference to the paymaster to have a 60,000 a week player sitting it out ... they want their money's worth ... those that are on their way out are not cared about a win bonus ... which from their body language is obviously very clear ... do they look bothered or angered when we concede... NO they don't....and that sums up the ethos of the whole set up TOP to bottom, there is also no stand out leader at the club to organise or encourage and dish a bollocking out .... Nelson and Okoli would be my pairing ... but they need to play and gel, read each others game .. not just play them a couple of games then bin it off ... take a look at those players on 50k + a week and tell me the last time you thought they were consistently worth it

An Evening With Leicester City Legends

And a rope -
In fairness to him he's not had the best of starts ... no pre season and no cash, however I'm struggling to identify his system... if he has one ? firstly for me any player who is out of contract next summer can only make the bench at best, then pick the players left to fit your system ... youth or otherwise it may not be perfect but at least it's a forward direction .... my suspicion is that he has to pick certain players to justify the high wages they are being paid
-
For me we employ a manager to play a system for players we obviously don't have in the squad ... we are a few months away from a lot of players being shown the door ... at that point we need a manager with a different system and rebuild the team to suit .... this Pep style system is boring to watch and not suited to us and the squad .... this could be Marti or not

Hull 2-1 LCFC, post-match thread
Winstonthedog replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Seems to me a lot of players are no longer playing for the club .... several know in a few weeks they will be able to start negotiating with other clubs ... for them it's about keeping fitness and being in the shop window ... although on performance if I were them I wouldn't be that hopeful of finding a new club -
"Soumare isn't very good" .... thats the understatement of the season ... he should never pull on a city shirt again ...

Results speak for themselves .... and from your suggestion you know exactly what is being said in the dressing room ... however I can only speak from what I see on the pitch ... -

No ... I'm suggesting two things ... firstly we do not have the striking capability to finish teams off ... by going for a second or third goal .... and secondly we neither have the capability to defend a lead due to the continuous errors in defence ... thus we end up drawing ... do you think are strikers are sh1t ? ... do you think our defence is solid enough to defend a lead ? Or can you explain the number of drawn games ? ... is the team being coached to gain a lead and try to defend it ? or coached to get a lead and push on for a win ? ... 5 draws that with more attacking intensity at least 3 should have been turned into wins -

Mainly because we offer absolutely no threat up front, very few goals from elsewhere and it it seems once we get a lead the idea is to defend it sooner than increasing the lead ... and with the defensive mistakes we consistently make a draw is the most likely outcome .... take a look at the draws so far ... so our game plan makes the most likely outcome to be a draw ... playing for a draw or playing not to lose ... fine margins -
Hull (A) Tue 21 Oct - Pre Match
Winstonthedog replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
No not at all .... but we lack the quality to put teams to the sword ... and in this league which is quite a poor standard if we had the qualities we should be able to do so... we seem to get a lead and then sit and give the opposition chances to get back into the game .. which the results show ... its not an extraordinary claim the results cannot lie .... -

Beginning to believe we are playing for a draw from the kick off .... inability to kill teams off will cost dearly.... draws are of no use if you are going anywhere... and we don't appear to be ... -
Ayew take the knee most of thr game judging by the amount of times he falls over
