  1. I'm swell, champ
  2. At least Dean Myth is a good old Bri'ish manager, huh?
  3. I'm afraid they shit the bed by not hiring Marsch. He'd have got you guys out of trouble. But they can't have a Yank! What do they know about Soccerball LOL
  4. Should have hired Marsch, as I said. It was the obvious option
  5. He's worked closely with Chris Armas previously and I think he'd be the first choice. Ewan Sharp and Cameron Toshack also tend to go with him so likely will for this as well. I'd really like to see Orta go with him from Leeds as he's a talented DOF - albeit a little erratic in his personality - but has the right sort of profile for a club like Foxes
  6. I've asked a few contacts of mine for a bit more information to try and ease your concerns. Only had the GK coach that worked with him during one of his early spells at a club get back to me so far. Apparently he was great with the players, "almost annoyingly positive" as he puts it but that positivity garnered success at an unprecedented level for the club and he worked the players harder than ever. He's the guy that claims Marsch turned down one of the big London clubs a few years back and he's no liar. Fwiw it's around the time one of their managers was getting pushed for the sack. Apparently he got screwed over with multiple assistants at Leeds, at least one of whom was rumoured to be a telltale to those upstairs at the club. Marsch told him he really regrets his failure at Leipzig and in fact had offered to resign, even offering to give up a month's wage as he felt he hadn't done a good enough job there. He added that he's also learnt a lot from perceived failure in his last two jobs and has spent the past few months travelling around seeing a different side of life, particularly enjoying the Izmir and Yurets regions of Europe. He doesn't have the lottery numbers for next week unfortunately.
  7. Sadly not! I've not met Matt on my travels within the beautiful game yet but everyone I know speaks of him well.
  8. Exactly this buddy. But people only see what they want to. If he was British and had a name like Steve Jackson, people would be welcoming him with open arms. Luckily he's got thick skin and has heard all of the lazy insults many, many times. I'd bet the house on you guys picking up points as soon as he comes in - maybe barring Man City .
  9. I saw the same BS posted by Leeds fans when he replaced their darling Bielsa. They weren't so critical when he kept them up. How about that, huh
  10. I can post my invoices for data analysis, paid by Charlotte FC and Bali United, if you don't believe me?
  11. Thanks man. Good to see at least one Brit gets it
  12. Grow up. Xenophobe
  13. Excellent news. Strap yourselves in guys, he'll likely keep you up and you'll enjoy the journey. And if he doesn't - his success speaks for itself in terms of getting you guys promoted. I worked closely with Matt Miazga - ex Reading, was signed by Chelsea - and he had nothing bad to say about him whilst he was at NYRB. Jesse did some really positive actions. Lots of meditation and mindfulness before the latter was even a big thing. He''s definitely a big believer in team spirit and that's what you need rn. I know at Leeds players were regularly given days off of the training ground to do bonding exercises and regularly ate out together at Pizza restaurants etc. Not one player there had a bad thing to say about him and he kept them up so the proof is in the pudding. The media absolutely loved him too. Delighted for you fellas!
  14. Sorry but that's total BS. The Leeds team sucked before he came in and were facing relegation to The Skybet Championship. He came in, told everyone to step back and steered the ship to safety. Did your precious Bielsa do that? Fat chance. I work in data analysis in football and LUFC was hitting all of the key underlying numbers under his control. The board just crapped their pants. Where was Gnonto before Jesse's impact? And Adams? He turned down a top 4 club to go to Leeds and they repaid him by sacking him as soon as pressure mounted. But what's new, he's American.
  15. Hey y'all, Jesse didn't get the break he needed at Leeds. It's as simple as that. He's 100% suited to the EPL though. He gave blood, sweat and tears to every job He's had - even in the last job, where supporters wanted him to fail as he wasn't Marco Bielsa. His status as a Princeton alumni is highly respected within the US and is seen as a footballing visionary here. I cannot believe the tedius Ted Lasso nonsense he was associated with but it's another case of xenophobic anti-USA feeling towards ourselves in English football. I think he'd be a much better fit for your roster than Leeds' too.
