Preston are one of those totally inoffensive clubs aren't they. They had a great start last time before tailing off, would happily see them in the PL

I get why people are negative however nothing about our transfer activity this summer, particularly the last two or three weeks suggests we're about to spunk 100k on wages for a player

Gilbert did a job! Albeit in League 1.
I’ll throw Robbie Nielsen, Alun Marbury and I vaguely remember a game when Ricardo Scimeca played right back (I think).
Impressive how you nail Ricardo Scimeca's name but butcher Alan Maybury's!

Surely the sarcastic wording on that banner is quite cleverly done and makes it hard to punish them?

Still got options at fullback. Need to prioritise midfielders and striker.
RB: Ricardo, Hamza, Coulibaly
LB: Thomas, Kristiansen, Aluko
Sure, but
Crock, ugh, who

Potter is stuffed isn't he? He did amazingly at Osterlund with zero pressure, ok at Swansea, well at Brighton with a team assembled by others (and who did better under Di Zerbi) and failed completely at Chelsea and now West Ham with expectations.
Brighton assessment is a bit harsh/inaccurate no? His last full season i seem to remember was an obvious improvement on all his other seasons, then had a really good start to the season he left and De Zerbi carried it on. If anything that would align to when he eventually had his own squad, nothing to do with inheriting what somebody else built.
Bit early to write off WHU as well even if it doesn't yet seem that a summer of integrating his ways/style has done much for them

I swear Wolves just accumulate players out of nowhere that you've never heard of

Really strong way to bounce back after lasts weeks relegation-confining result

Soumare won't get the credit he deserves for that assist, what a pass

Would have preferred a Perez/Bottas and a youngster. Even Schumacher would have done them some good commercially, Perez would automatically bring a lot of money with him

Arguably he's the best striker we have on our books

Spent the first half poking that bit of material at the top of the back of my trainer with a sewing needle back in its place as it had fallen and is causing me slight discomfort when walking. Surprisingly, despite it not being 100% resolved, I think I've made really solid progress, though I do suspect it will just fall down again really easily over the next few times I put them on/use them. I'll keep you updated

No we don't. We have 23 and a bunch of academy players that have been training with the first team but only like 2/3 of them have actually played in the first team.
1. Stolarcyck - ok
2. Begovic - ok
3. Faes - get out
4. Souttar - ok but crocked
5. Vesty - get out
6. Nelson - cool
7. Okoli - relatively cool
8. Woyo - who?
9. Justin - bit of everything. He'll do, not good enough, provides cover across defence. Also possibly leaving
10. Thomas - ok, perhaps
11. VK - get out
12. Ricardo - hurrah but prone to injury
13. Soumare - get out
14. Skipp - get out but won't happen
15. Winks - see justin
16. Hamza - meh
17. Bilal - gonna leave but cool if not
18. Alves - cool
19. Mavididi - relatively cool
20. Fatawu - super cool
21. BDCR - totally uncool, get out
22. Daka - get out
23. Ayew - FFS
Monga and page would probably be included in the first team but there is no evidence that Evans, Aluko will be and i'm certain Braybrooke, Golding and Wanya will not be So "30" is a stretch.
I agree with you. I've left a brief summary in your quoted message which is probably a fair opinion on that player by the fans, whether they're rated or wanted. When you look at it that way it's a really depressing list. Yes we need to trim the squad however we need to trim it a lot to the extent where we bring maybe a handful in. Not trim it but sign no one

Douglas Luiz loaned to Forest. Kinda sad

It's not news and it's not sports, it's just sky sports football. Could be genuinely huge news from golf/cricket etc but that would be eclipsed by them quickly breaking away because the Man Utd squad have just started training ahead of their dead rubber Europa League game against Lech Poznan.
Judging from the programme name they dedicated an hour on EFL fixture release day a few months ago, 12:01 strikes and before they give any fixture info away they start with breaking news of a transfer which has progressed... Not even been announced or whatever. Just something had progressed
