    That's the bottom line.

You would have to go to 50 away matches, just to be level with someone with a Season Ticket for 1 year!   It's the 50 points per year that has totally skewed the system, and led to most of the attendant problems.

(and I'm saying that as someone who has had a season ticket for a 1000 years, and "am alright jack".    We're not all selfish bstards ... wanting the club to have the best away support is what comes first for me.   I want them to bin the yearly ST 50 point system, and bring in some short term (3-5 year) rolling priority scheme).

I've been saying this for years. The longer it has gone on the more people are realising what a ridiculous policy it is.

I've mentioned this to Jim so says the committee who have spoken about it doesn't think this is a problem. I told him that astonished me but then maybe this committee is as useless as the rest of the club.

He also didn't fail to mention that I wouldn't have brought it up if it wasn't for a big game. Well here I am yet again calling it out when you can't sell out an away allocation for a huge game.

  2. I'm from York so hit me with any questions!

As if with visiting anywhere, depends what you're into.

Go into and go to the top of the Minster.

They've just refurbished Clifford's Tower so definitely worth going in there.

Do a walk around the river up from Lendal Bridge to the Millennium Bridge.

    Chill in the museum gardens.

Walk the entirety of the city walls - it's not that long and well worth it.

For food, again depends what you like - let me know if anything particular you're interested in. Thomas the Bakers is a lovely little bakery for lunch.

Pubs - they are amazing but all cost a bloody fortune now. I'm not sure about the comment about avoiding drinking on the main street as there aren't really any places on the main street to drink.

A few pubs on the outskirts of the city centre I like are The Phoenix, Rook and Gaskill and Waggon and Horses.

    Enjoy!

Susan always sits on the panel at FCC meetings so yes if want to say she is dragged I to it then yes she is. Or you maybe as CEO she should be aware that the staff below her are ****ing useless.

As for the 50 points. No the club don't see it as an issue. Because they take the approach that all season ticket holders get it. So wheres there a problem.

I'm shocked she's on that. Impressed she actually turns up to stuff like that tbf

Seriously? Do they really not understand that it just means nobody who became a season ticket holder after 2014 can get any sort of decent priority? Does this get brought up much cos it's massively unfair - especially for the young fans coming through? Or do they just not care?

I'm currently having this debate with both Jim and Susan Whelan  it having spoken to Alistair Spiers who is head of sales on Weds either he doesn't know the clubs own T&Cs or he doesn't seem to be as keen to promote this option.

Still seems an absolute waste of time tho. In my situation all I was asking if I could pass to a relative to accompany my lad or alternatively pass my lads sesson ticket to a mate and where I stood. Seems ridiculous we have got to this point.

Sorry just to clarify, Susan Whelan is being brought into stuff like this? No wonder the club is an absolute joke right now if someone in her position is having to be dragged into such crap that should be sorted lower down. Dear me.

Has the ridiculous 50 points per season with an arbitrary start date been discussed at these meetings or does that not suit the old boys who have no interest in the younger generation coming through?

I have been in contact with Jim a couple of times about this and he seemed to think it wasn't a problem in the slightest. Absolutely bizarre - so if you wouldn't mind bringing that up again, that would be fantastic thanks.

Two blokes near me started shouting bomb the boats. Utterly depressing to realise people can think like this

It's a sad poison from the media they expose themselves to. Easy reading like the Sun, Mail, Express, and Facebook posts where unfortunately they're unable to think critically in reaction to news events.

There's also 'common sense' ideas that the likes of Farage spout which might appeal to people if they can't and won't dig a little deeper.

People don't understand the impact of the policy, people don't understand how you can enter the country legally, and hear inflammatory comments from a Government which is resigned to using culture wars as their only hope of winning the next election.

I think there's a certain percentage of the population, as there is with the MAGA right in the States, who have minds that sadly can't be changed - they are in too deep. The recent Fox News scandal is an hilarious example of this.

We just have to hope there are enough decent people in the centre ground to avoid us having to appease these people any longer.

Ricky's challenge early on was worse and set the tone for what was a pretty, ahem, tasty game

This could definitely have been a red.

No idea why he changed the formation. Went to shite after that.

And he really doesn't like Mendy. Drags him every game however well he plays.

I don't care what era it is, who is in power, I don't believe that anyone has the right to turn up at these shores and claim asylum without going through the legal process.

    PERIOD.

Would you like to kindly explain how somebody can legally do that in Britain after this proposed bill?

    Good luck.

Who said he isn’t titled to an opinion, Im saying if you have migrants stay at your home pick them straight up from the port as a true reflection of the type travelling the channel and the ones that you are an advocate for.

Don’t cherry pick the safest most educated available options and yeah there all also a lot of problems on his own doorstep that he could use his influence to highlight local homeless issues in the County.

What’s that got to do with solving world hunger?

He has the time to send a multiple tweets about immigration on more that one occasion but can’t tweet and highlight the homeless in Leicester or house them also.

I would love to know how your brain comes out with such nonsense. I imagine it's a maze of stupidity with a sprinkle of the Daily Mail and Sun.

The manager may be awful, but the players are pathetic. Can’t see anyone getting much out of this bunch. Such a poor mentality

The mentality comes from the top. We've always been week mentally with him. Even when we were doing well we should never have dropped out of the champions league places.

  10. Athens is such a strange city. The history is a must and you should go for that alone, but as a city I just found it pretty bizarre. Especially as a capital.

Also for people worried about the cost of holidays, I would really urge you to think outside the box and see what else you can find. There are still plenty of cheap breaks available if you look yourself rather than go for a package break. If you just want to go to Europe and chill in the sun there are so many places you can go to that aren't all packaged up for Brits.
