Yeah this happened, certainly on the SK2 side. Literally dozens of people turning to the singing section making w4nker gestures or putting ‘2-1’ fingers up as if the most important thing at that time was one-upping their fellow fans who had shown some self-respect and genuine care about the Club’s situation. These people are beyond help and need to follow King Power out of the door.

I would have tended to agree in years gone by, but think this argument loses a lot of credibility when you consider it’s widely recognised the second half performance yesterday was as good as it’s been in a long time and that was after every player (bar JJ) was booed from various sections of the support as the team was read out and subs were booed as they were warming up and brought on. If anything it proves it should have been far more vociferous far earlier in the season and perhaps we might have seen some progress before it was too late.

There was a moment last night that perfectly captured the ridiculous cuckoldry among a large portion of our fanbase… Winks, having had every touch in his half time warm up booed and had numerous renditions of ‘what a w4nker’ directed at him, barrels over to the SK1 corner to take a corner. You then have a quite ridiculous scene where the singing section are directing more ‘w4nker’ chants at him and both sides just out of the singing section in SK2 and the East Stand rise as one to give him a standing ovation. Thank fvck for the summer because I cannot bear to share the same stadium as these braindead cultists anymore, it’s almost more depressing than the state of the Club in general.

Absolutely, and if they choose to ignore it - passing it off as the impact of cold weather, TV or bad form - then that just reaffirms their ineptitude to be managing a football club of this size. The whole thing is like the mother of your children spending all your money (and more) whilst cheating on you and you being told by (half) your friends and family that you can’t leave her because she gave you the gift of children, you were punching above your weight at the time anyway and you might never get anyone better.

If the protests aren’t necessary, what exactly should the fans be doing to show their displeasure? To use a business analogy - given Football Clubs like to think of themselves as capable businesses when they’re justifying £57 tickets or £25 to retain a bit of plastic - what set of shareholders (ie the fans) would accept such a fall off in performance with zero communication and accountability? I doubt they would be sitting there thinking ‘oh well, great that they improved the share price to £300 10 years ago. Can’t complain that it’s now £30. Trust the process, the Directors are great guys’ whilst senior management refused to answer any questions but just put out meaningless statements about internal reviews. For what it’s worth I thought some of the visuals on the van were pretty pathetic (others were spot on) and needlessly personal - it’s OK to think Rudkin is not fit for the role and should be sacked/resign but calling him a cvnt etc undermines the cause imo.

Well done @ProjectReset - takes fortitude to get something like this off the ground and you should be proud. Hope one day you feel like you can shake the anonymity because I think that will add to the cause as you have already shown you can organise something important like this successfully behind an online avatar.

Can’t just be me who is fascinated by the Ultra fan scene movement across world football so well worth a thread in my opinion. Amazing how much influence these guys can have over their clubs, how political in-fighting between the same group of fans can cause civil war and how sophisticated groups (largely) made up on lunatics can get. I find it interesting to see where their method of support is mainly influenced from – for example the Grobari at Partizan Belgrade and Vak S of Feyenoord base themselves on English fans of the 70s whereas most Greek clubs are predominantly Italian in style.
