It really shouldn't bother me as much as it does, but the faded and soon to be empty seats piss me off so much.

    Such an easy fix.

Same, and it's a very visable indication of how little they care.

Ok  incorrect on the dates, the principle remains. they saw a change of ownership a potential upturn and bought in .Now they are bailing out.At least they are allowing the pent up demand an opportunity to provide a freshened up fan base, We need Leicester city supporters not plastics associating themselves with the perceived initial attraction of rich foreign owners, only to have their bubble burst ,when the interest wavered and the Luck ran out along with the complete incompetence.

What are you basing this on though? Just assumptions? If you know the last time we had a big drop off in renewals that allowed these "plastics" in then fair enough.

Based on my admittedly small sample, those I know who have sacked it off recently have been life long fans. I had a season ticket for 34 years before giving it up end of the season just gone.

I am also pleased that some fresh faces will get a chance though.

The actions are so basic lol

'the club will take on board the feedback from FAB'

    Such cop outs

Complete waste of time. Would love to hear from some of the members on whether they feel it's worth it.

Based on the actions, there is no need for a meeting whatsoever. Just send an email and they can post they'll take on the feedback.

Haha, trying to pass that off as normal practice and basically blaming you for any confusion....."if you'd actually read the attached document Rob."

I just got the same one so it's basically gone to everyone that cancelled that previously used the DD scheme. That will be 1,000s of people. In any other business that's a monumental f*ck up. With these clowns, they blame the customer.

It really is every single week a new low.

  5. Went Dot2Dot festival in Nottingham on Sunday. Would really recommend it as a City festival. It's also mirrored in Bristol the day before.

We saw 14 bands across the day in a load of different venues, ranging from little cafes and bars up to Rock City for the headliners. Tickets on sale for next eyar at £25 which is a bargain.

Lambrini Girls, Flooding, Murkage Dave and The Itch were my highlights.

Going to Seville and Cadiz with my 21 year old daughter at the beginning of September, 2/3 days in each. Not been to Seville since our Champions League jaunt in 2017 and never been to Cadiz. Booked flights and accommodation independently for better value like you say. Really looking forward to it. 🇪🇸

Both beautiful. I posted some Seville suggestions a few pages back if helpful. Favourite bit about Cadiz was the seafood market, really lively spot with superb cheap seafood.

Okay cheers. I've also got Dungeon Crawler Carl on my lost too which was mentioned above. They'll keep me busy for a while.

This was great by the way! Not quite what I expected but really fun and fast paced which I was in the mood for. Might give it a few books in between but will probably pick up the next one.

  8. I missed Huth's opener at Man City, stuck on the M6 (obviously) and we parked up just as it went in.

Almost missed Gary Parker's pen against Palace in the play-off final, because my dads mate poked me in the eye with his flag celebrating being awarded it.

There were numerous reports that around 20k renewed, meaning around 3.5-4k didn't renew (depending on exactly how many season tickets we sold last season). So probably around 3.5-4k new fans, not 17k.

Haha yeh surely this is what that poster meant, not that 17k didn't renew!

By the time Rodgers had completely sabotaged the club it was too late, however if our cretinous board had acted on him when they should have (I.e 12 months earlier) then yeah, I’ve always maintained that Emery was a realistic appointment.

He definitely was. Villa's approach actually seems to be fairly similar to us under Rodgers in the fact that they've given him the keys and he has pretty much full control. Key difference being Emery forced their DoF out which we know would never happen to Teflon Jon.

Jonathan Northcroft wrote that we had four world class players in 2015-16: Schmeichel, Kante, Mahrez and Vardy, who ‘was world class at what he did’

Honestly, why the need for a little additional caveat for Vardy? It's such snobbery, as someone else said, it's because he didn't go on to a bigger club.

Broke goal scoring records in the PL, did it in the Champions League, did it at international level and won trophies at the same time.

    Agreed

I don’t see how Vardy can’t be mentioned in and around the world class players back in the day

    A golden boot- almost 2

    Scoring record

    PL title

His goal numbers against the ‘big 6’ was phenomenal

Did he win football writers POTS too?

Yeh he did, 8th in Ballon D'or too for those that value that.

Both him and certainly Mahrez world class at times during their careers.

Presume he doesn't know how to deal with confrontation.

Someone who has clear communication and is good at their job (Piers Morgan for example, dickhead, but is never flustered when it comes to difficult moments) would be all over that, but he's hiding away as he knows any interaction with a fan is a net negative for him.

Yeh, also because there is no common narrative or direction of the club. So there's literally nothing he could say. Just more empty words like we get on the official site.

Again sad day for us loyal supporters when it takes so much to actually go through with the decision not to renew.:nono:

Yeh, weighed it up for a while, but realised I'd feel a lot worse if I renewed so in the end there was only one decision. I see we statrted going at a similar time. We've seen some things aye.
