Apparently it’s US law to delay games too .

England would have probably wanted do get on with it if anything .

If it isn't, its common sense. The f1 moved to avoid lightning earlier in the season.

NFL may do snow games, but like others have said, the ball is in the air than rolling over the ground

I seem to remember before Brazil 2014 there was a game delayed by lightning too ?

Yeah there was. Kicked off near midnight in the end I believe.

There was that rain delayed game at the euros 2 years back too where it sounded like a bomb went off and the referee just instantly went bollocks to it and I think he was the first down the tunnel 🤣

  3. It would be up there with the failed qualifications of Taylor and Maclaren or that loss to Iceland if we managed to bottom out in this group.

Think there is only 1 place the 3rd place team for group L can go also if they are one of the top 6 3rd placers.   Just waiting for Ayew to somehow now become a footballer who knows how to jog, maybe even sprint, and put footballs in goals.

  5. Since our last set of riots  flag shagging protests or demonstrations which I believe was Southport, I have removed myself from all social media. I didn't even realise this cracked off last night and it was blissful to not sit there watching the far right stir up trouble.

Any excuse to get the brick video back out.

The info coming out in the past few days of the police officer arresting him saying "you haven't been stabbed" is the bit that I think is also stirring some stuff. Lad cuffed because he is accused of being racist and then not believed on being stabbed and not checked. I don't think it's 2 tier policing, I think all policing in this country is sub par. If they arrested the wrong man on a racism claim, that is one thing, but not believing or checking him saying he had been stabbed just makes it worse. Wonder if it was that one who has resigned or not. I can't see that if it isn't him that the review won't recommend removing him. Is there nothing he can be charged for? I know the poor lad was all but dead following the stab through the heart, but it feels a crime that he just let him die and didn't try to help him. I know there is a difference between what feels like and what is a crime though.

Once there, he was even allowed into the kitchen to choose his food. No idea if this is routine practice for all.

My friend, definetly not me, can confirm you aren't allowed out your cell to choose your food when being held in custody. They will ask if you want any food or drink, but you only leave your cell for questioning, moving cell, transport elsewhere or release.

  7. The male officer who is heard saying that "he hasn't been stabbed" needs sacking, if not charges bought against him.  Didn't even check him over whilst still trying to cuff him. I know he was more than likely going to die with a stab to the heart, but still.

    The messages detail how:

    • A junior analyst sent to observe Oxford United train before their December fixture with Southampton sent a message to colleagues saying, "I didn't really have an option and wasn't provided an opportunity to say no. I was an intern and was doing what I was told."
    • When he sent details from that session back to his boss, he received a WhatsApp reading, "You legend. Manager loved it."
    • Upon being asked to carry out a second spying mission on Ipswich he expressed concern but was told, "the boss is adamant that someone needs to go".
    • That upon being caught, another analyst at the club sent a message to his colleague saying: "I said all along I was never happy about it all & it wasn't right but no one listened to me!"

I'm looking for the document now. Only BBC seem to be reporting it at the moment.

Would love to see these tests.

Also, how is a cognitive test a physical examination?  Ooooh, if you make it up, it can be whatever you want it to be!

If someone told me I had twice the IQ of Trump, I'd consider it an insult

He has mentioned these "genius tests" or whatever it is before had a horse and a tiger in, so people twigged it was the Montreal cognitive assessment.
