  1. Thought he was ok. Think the thing that surprised me the most was how uncomfortable he looks with the ball. I'd expect an ex-CM to have a better technique than he looks to have. There was an he time it just needed a simple ball up the line for Mahrez to counter and he bombed it into touch.

Buying a left back doesn’t mean he has to play left back - Chelsea played a right back at left back for a fair while (or vica versa)

a decent technical player who is comfortable on the ball could play on the wrong side

No need to explain, I grew up watching Alan Maybury strut his stuff!

Sorry for going off topic, but interesting that neither Ndidi or the player to his left are jumping. Can only assume they were told not to in case it was struck low. If Ndidi had jumped it doesn't look like it would have gone in.

  4. Well I went to watch The Last Jedi with huge expectation and left completely deflated. Went last night with low expectations but left with a bigger smile than when I woke up on Christmas '84 to a Commodore 64.

There's a clear lesson for the youth of today; if you're looking for a hero, Harry Maguire > Luke Skywalker!

  5. He's a great example that there's lots of different leadership styles. Think of people who have inspired you to be the best you can be at work. Yes there will be those that can motivate through a rousing speech, but there'll be others who are technically brilliant in their field or can paint such an amazing vision of the future you just have to be a part of it.

Personally I couldn't care less that his post match interviews are dull (I just turn the volume up and ponder why his English isn't better!). What matters is the players seem to have bought into his approach and are playing for him. Whether he's done this by shouting or whispering is none of my concern!

  6. He's just doggo! Completely fail to see what he offers. No strength, can't take long shots, can't cross, doesn't try, I just can't see it. I'm not even convinced he's quick!

What can he do that Jeff couldn't? And I'll say this as one of his biggest critics. Keep wanting to like him but he does nothing to endear himself.
