Yeah yeah I know, I share your ethos. But for us English it's fine. Bolognese sauce doesn't really exist for Italians any way does it? It's all Soffrito in a Ragu.

I only buy decent tomatoes for my sauce too, with very little acidic content - Mutti Finely Chopped (or peeled). Cheap brands are all acidity as you say.

    Spot on,on all counts.Especially the Mutti😂

Finely chopped tomatoes HAVE to be cooked to make a decent Ragu or Bokognese sauce.

I’m going to sound like a dick, but not meaning to be,but can’t help it. I’m a bit precious about my Italian cooking .

passata in a bolognaise sauce.Less watery against your main meat ingredient, over the long cooking period.Better texture.Less acidic than tinned( and they have to be the right ones)

Really mean this,I’m not brilliant at a lot of things ,but anyone who wants to cook authentic Sauces, lasagna even tray pizzas that will stand out,I’m happy to share.

    Peterborough (A) 1-5 in 2018.

Great day out and we took a very good end.

I'm pretty much against modern football and love grounds with character, but that away end has been a massive upgrade on the terrace.

Well if we play them next year, the away fans will be in the London Road end ( opposite where we were) with rail standing.

Back from Bologna, more fun than the average Italian city because it has an established pub and (good) bar scene. Food very good but not exactly mesmerising. Walking

Headed into Modena, Ferrari museum a bit expensive for what it is, a way to kill an hour. Pleasant change of pace however, architecturally surprisingly different.

Southern Italy cuisine is better, but I would say that I’ve been brainwashed and you don’t argue with Italian women.

Regarding food ,I think don’t set your expectations too high. You hear “the best food in the world “ but,the majority is very basic.Plus tourist areas, will always dumb down.

    SE coastline is nice.

    Taylor-Fletcher, a double

The wanna be hard man in my year(80’s) surname was Fletcher, and me and my mates being the clowns we were, used to wind him up by shouting “ twang” when he walked by.

obviously got punched, but it caught on by the whole year.

much to his annoyance.Proudest moment of my school years!

I don't like journalists using the "he hasn't spent any money" excuse.

He's got the squad with the biggest wage budget the league has ever seen and he brought in two very proven Championship level players in the summer in on loan.

100% had to go,but the wage budget is probably the main reason we are in this total mess financially.

There lies the problem ,giving contracts and massive wages for mediocre players.

Absolute incompetence higher up and no football knowledge.

  9. Me and my mate have a bet on a Saturday.

if I’m going to the match he puts it on.If he is working I do.

Both doing our things today. So I  put it on,but said I won’t look and  just let it run.Like I do if that’s the case.

Anyway,I was more interested in that for the last 5 minutes.i looked and saw it was doing ok.Which never happens.

    Bromley 89th minute

    Bolton 90+1

£409 Cashed out and was talking on my phone to him whilst the players were walking over.Way more exciting.

put him on loud speaker so he could hear the natives disapproving.

My behaviour was so telling of this team,I’m getting older and tend to moan to myself if I see people on their  phones at a match.

Day off today, ooh fa cup all day 😁😁

    But no.... TNT/DISCOVERY+

    🫣

    Rubbish

Now I gotta either have it on radio while the wife says "oh let's get this done today" or use alternative ways to watch

    What a rubbish day

I am not paying £30.99 🤣 for another sports network 😑

I’ve got Discovery +,but when you go to the match it says you have to upgrade to TNT

Just done the same. Pay a fortune for Sky Sports and got rid of TNT when we exited Europe.

TNT have every FA Cup game today and tomorrow night. I thought there would be at least one on the BBC 🤬

    Exactly when I cancelled mine.

Think BBC only have 2 matches per round.
