Oxfordfox83 Posted 17 September 2015 Posted 17 September 2015 Mahrez made a really good point in his Guardian interview last week in that Vardy, Kante and himself have not been through a football academy and thus play in a street football sort of way. This makes them exciting and different as their talent hasn't been coached out of them. This is a brilliant point. I picked up on it too, and when Wrighty(?) said Mahrez reminded him of Kinkladze I thought that was bang on. Mahrez makes mistakes and poor decisions, but it means when he does get it right he's unstoppable. It also means he can still get better, which is scary and mouthwatering at the same time! Back on topic: Kante can be the new Lennon-I can see him being the essence of our team, that all the rest of our play is built around...
