when i click sign in it doesnt seem to want to let me!!!

it comes up with the following message which quite frankly is a poor excuse because its a lie

we were unable to sign you in to msn messenger, possibly because of a problem with the service or with your internet connection. Please make sure you are connected to the internet. 81000306

under this is a troubleshoot button which when pressed actually confirms im not connected to the net when in fact i am!!!!

anyone any ideas on whats going on?

so what did you do to solve the problem?

kept trying! i also reconnected to the internet a few times. Then if it still dont work, i would get seriously annoyed! And if i was really despertate to get on i would restart.

Apart from that not much else you can do.

try disabling your firewall, or try siging in with an old msn name or summat.

i had a similar problem a few days ago, but it sorted itself

I use a different program (gaim) that allows me to be logged onto different IM networks at the same time. It does not work 100% seamlessly either, though....

There are several other alternatives as well, in case you get too frustrated with your current setup!
