Admittedly, we have plenty of midfield options at the moment but he may be useful as an anchor for the midfield and so free up Hughesy to bomb forward. At the moment Hughes appears to want to be the total midfielder and he is far more potent when running with the ball at his feet and picking out through passes. What does everyone think? Doubt it will happen now with Levein focusing on the back four but he may be worth a trial....
Scow Posted 16 September 2005 Posted 16 September 2005 We have Gudjonsson and Kisnorbo who can play in that role, and Tiatto at a push, so I doubt Levein will want a fourth defensive midfielder.

He sounds like a fruit drink to me - J2O - and he's probably not what we most want in the mix at the moment. A defensive leader and a real centre-forward would do.
