Thracian Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-36824719 This all makes sense to me. There is so much potential to be developed. Especially with better communication routes into Mid Wales. I love holidaying there. You can stick the hassle of airport departure lounges. Stand on the first tee of Porthmadog Golf Course with the river estuary, The Irish Sea, Harlech Castle and the views of Snowdonia in different directions and you're in a recreational paradise. Lose yourself in the wilderness of Brecon Beacons, wander the hills overlooking Conwy or spend idyllic weekends in earshot of the waterfalls in Betwys-Y-Coed and you've got the perfect antidote to the pressures of worldly cares. Surely the mutual co-operation championed here is what the UK should be all about. Wishful thinking perhaps with the Scottish Sturgeon forever biting like an epileptic piranha but still worth the effort.
davieG Posted 19 July 2016 Posted 19 July 2016 Yes all good but maybe better communication links within the English Midlands first like the train from Leicester to Brum and the train and roads to the East Coast.
Thracian Posted 19 July 2016 Author Posted 19 July 2016 East-West communication is appalling. Not sure why they got rid of the stagecoaches!
