Nationwider Posted 2 October 2005 Share Posted 2 October 2005 Barclays Premiership, Sunday 2 October: Arsenal v Birmingham, 13:30 Aston Villa v Middlesbrough, 14:00 Liverpool v Chelsea, 16:00 Man City v Everton, 11:15 Wigan v Bolton, 13:00 Does anyone else find this ridiculous? For starters, there are 5 games on a Sunday. Can they not play all UEFA games on a Wenesday rather than a Thursday? And then why do they need to move both Arsenal and Liverpool's games over as well? And then..... why do they stretch the whole thing out so that we have 7 hours continuous football on a Sunday? Football is for Satuday afternoons. This is a joke. rossporterlc Posted 2 October 2005 Share Posted 2 October 2005 i like to have some football on a saturday, liverpool and arsenal's games are also likely to be the best ones to watch, i hate it when all 3 'big' teams play on saturday, leaves crap games for sunday, have to say i'm losing a lot of interest in the premiership though
