dodododougan Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 Don't want to put a dampener on it chaps but although we had a great win on Saturday it was the first time we've won away in about 18 attempts - hardly earth shattering - lets wait until we've beaten Burnley and the Cov W**kers before we get too carried away - bo**ox to that - Coooome on youuuuu bloooo boyyys - Wot a f***ing great win on Staurday - 2 great goals - MDV looking better than Heskey and Kisnorbo really looking the part - then there was Dion looking like the best centre half we have ever............................................

I'm sure that's well meant but when you win as rarely as we do - and especially away from home - then you've got to make make the best of it. You might hope but you never KNOW when it's going to happen again. Two days of joy so far and the best part of another one tomorrow (up to kick-off). Is there any greater pick-me-up than a City win?

Jonbluefox9 Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 Don't want to put a dampener on it chaps but although we had a great win on Saturday it was the first time we've won away in about 18 attempts I understand your Caution. If you'd asked any of the City fans, who were at Elland Road after the Leeds match, if they thought we'd win away again in the league last season I'm sure we would've all said 'of course' but obviously we've had to wait a while. There's been a few occasions during Levein's time with the club where things have looked as if they were starting to turn in our favour but it didn't quite happen. Now we've got to make sure we build on the good result at Watford and become a consistently good side. All the talk about turning the corner is cheap, ultimately we've got to beat Burnley tomorrow otherwise the Watford result doesn't seem as good. COME ON LEICESTER!!! :fox:
cisono Posted 17 October 2005 Posted 17 October 2005 There is certainly need for some caution - one win away does not make us invincible for sure! However, I am also hoping that we keep our thoughts positive and minds focused on the task ahead. It will be tough but it is within our grasp... come on Leicester!!!!!!!
