It would help if you could give more details of this wireless router:

- brand

- model number

(at the very least)

Also, what type of internet connection do you have? (ADSL, cable...)

Who is your internet provider?

I have an AOL Broadband with Edimax Router.

I have a Wireless Signal so i think i have set that up ok, but i can't get connected to the internet i think it is something to do with configuration.

I'm a dummy when it come's to all the technical jargon.

Hate to say it, but I had a fecking nightmare when I did mine, I had to employ the services of the office geekboy and feed him lunch and a pint in return for his geekoid services, still he set it up for me

There are two issues here,

Getting your home network established

And

Sharing your internet connection.

I am guessing you have managed the first bit. To the second bit you need to enable Internet Connection Sharing on the PC that is physically connected to the Internet, How you do this will depend on your version of Widows. Which version do you have?

You then need to configure any other PC's on your network to connect via a Proxy server, which is in the internet options under connection. (For Internet Explorer choose Tools....Internet Options then Connection.

If you do some googling around there are some quite good instructions to be found.

To setup the router you need to connect via an Ethernet cable rather than wireless connection.

Also remember to make sure you secure your network (either WEP or WPA encryption), to prevent other people connecting to your wireless network.
