If you need wifi and/orbluetooth then keep the yes to wifi+bt, if not then don't bother. I'd say 16gb ram is pretty much a must. The other question to answer is how much storage you need, it seems these only supply them with SSD instead of normal HDD so the upgrade on space will cost a significant amount extra.

The G6400 is on the left, it's okay. But for the extra £70.80 I would really consider the i3 10100. I know it keeps popping up, but for good reason. The i3 10100 really is a nice bit of kit for the price.

The setup on pcspecialist with an i3 10100 and 2tb HDD comes in at £678, with 1tb HDD at £631. The one you've posted with the i3 10100 and a 500GB SDD (realistically the minimum I'd recommend) comes in at £673.19. Though you can knock that down to £602.39 if you go for the G6400.

Thanks for that, I was going for the i310100, 16gb and the Bigger storage. Re the storage I'm not to knowledgeable on that so that's very useful, are those prices for the Seagate storage?

I'd  like to go for the one you suggested but it could be a long time with all the current delivery problems. I guess it's down to how long I'm prepared to wait.

This is all good info for me so much appreciated.

Yeah its the Seagate ones. Had mine for 7 years now, daily use and never once gone wrong. Can't beat em for the price really.

And yeah, buying anything computer related right now is an absolute ballache. Problems all over the place.

@Innovindil Sorry to keep bothering you but could you give m thoughts on this unit apparently it's designed to be easily upgradeable so I'm thinking of buying it with the i3 processor but sticking with the 8gb ram and the 128gb of storage to upgrade after I've used it for a bit. I have 3 external storage units I could use to start with.

The only thing I'm not sure of is the motherboard options I'm hoping the default ones is ok for me.

It's a bit bulkier and dearer but I like that it's easily upgraded

Looks good to me. There were hdmi audio issues with that motherboard on release but they *appear* to be fixed now. Should be decent.

Yep. Honestly I think you'll be very happy for years to come with that set up. Pretty much the best bang for buck mini you could get right now.
