Such a weird and underwhelming episode.

 

Was always under the assumption that the contestants at least had a brand, or some reasonable experience of running their proposed idea as an actual *thing* (a bit like the folk you get on Dragon's Den). I wanted Kathryn to win but there was absolutely nothing there to invest in. Just an idea coupled with no industry experience backing up any claims.

 

Find it insane that come the final neither seemed to have thought about the name or look / feel of their brands, as well. Surely you at least have a name for the thing you've spent 3 months trying to get over?

 

The way they respond to questions with absolute nonsense like they're on an inconsequential task (when in this instance it pertains to their actual business) without any objection from the pitch audience makes the final a bit of a non event too. A few times Harpreet blagged on about franchising but it was just such an absent minded, wishy washy thing to say and wasn't challenged by anyone, let alone Sugar who's the bugger investing.

 

Didn't really rate Stephanie but I thought her idea was better than both.
