U16 Membership - Buying tickets

Recommended Posts

Morning guys,

Quick question...

My son is a Junior member (U16) and as a ST holder, I am trying to grab a ticket for Brentford (for example).

I login and assign the ticket, it states I must buy an adult ticket too and therefore cannot proceed.

Same thing happens when he logs in.

As a ST holder I don't need another ticket.

Does this mean I have to call the TO every time I want to buy him a ticket or am I missing something online?

TIA guys and gals 👍

When you say he's  an under 16 member, that means he could be anything from 13-16 ( under 12 is the bracket before i think ), if he's 15 or under he won't be able to buy a ticket on his own , as anyone 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult. I understand he's going with you but the ticket office computer won't know that. If he's already 16 I don't know what the solution is.

Exactly right. In this situation you’ll need to make all bookings on the phone and explain every time

Thanks guys, that is what I thought, what a ball ache.

To confirm, he is 12 so a junior member U16 in the 13-16 bracket.

I thought having him assigned as a strong relationship etc. would help but I was being a tad optimistic with the ticketing software infrastructure considering the hassle we had last year adding him to my group and ended up having to call 🤪🙄.

Thanks again 👍
